1:04 Most right handed people find it easier to hit jumpers fading to the left. Because the shooting hip is already alligned to the rim.

Oh I guess since I'm not a pro I can be different. I miss almost all shots fading left. Fading right I'm fine.

Hanif Ballard me too. but my trick when shooting on the left is step back. i cant shoot on the left off the dribble.

How have the Cavs, Warrior's, Celtics, Spurs, Rockets and the other top contenders not signed or traded for sweet Lou already? Dude has always been a lights out scorer and isn't as streaky a shooter as other volume shooters (JR Smith). Every top team needs two types of players coming off the bench, the hard-nosed grinding hustler who does all the dirty work and the sniper who can create his own shots and score from anywhere on the floor. Lou fits that last description perfectly
@lachietaylor33107 жыл бұрын
Way lat, but I will answer anyway. First of all because the Clippers wanted to keep him and also because none of the offers the Clippers were getting were up to their new front office's standards. Clippers FO knew they could get a lot for him.

He’s atrocious at defense and isn’t as efficient as the true superstars like Curry. He can’t carry a team, and thus he hasn’t won all that much
@cheekypasta557 жыл бұрын
Im just more surprised that he hasnt been on a team that has won something. Youd think a championship caliber team would want a guy like him coming off the bench. I mean you look at Nick Young on the Warriors. Its not like hes a lock down defender and he was brought in solely to score. Why would the Warriors not get Lou over him? Just my thoughts.

In the video (1:00) you say Lou going left when he's right handed as if it's something that shouldn't happen or is inefficient. It's actually more efficient to go to your left as a right handed shooter and vice versa. Because your shoulder is already aligned to the basket. Making it easier and way faster to line up your jumper before the defense can fully recover.

if you've ever played basketball, it's easier to shoot on the side of the court opposite to your dominant hand. that's why guys like Lebron shoot pull-ups while moving left more often than they drive to the basket
