Hi Lou. Happy Birthday! I am glad your boyfriend took you out to celebrate. Always celebrate your birthday ❤. I am sorry 😔 to hear your body is still hurting. It definitely sounds like you have inflammatory issues. I worry it is associated with the removal of the thyroid. I have a lot of inflammatory issues as well and doctors did not listen until it got so bad the symptoms were advanced and I could no longer work, and life became more challenging. I tell you this because I want to give you hope that you can help your condition even if doctors refuse to listen. You are very smart, so you may already know about the anti-inflammatory diet, and clean-eating. I do both and it makes a HUGE difference. Also, apple cider vinegar daily, and plenty of water. Those shots of herbs you made awhile back when you were sick are also great because the ginger helps reduce inflammation. Watch out for hidden ingredients, or misleading names in foods. MSG is NOT good for you, and it is in so many packaged/processed foods, especially there in Japan. Since you are not being prescribed thyroid medication, you might consider naturopathic supplements for thyroid support. I know several people that have been helped by them. They can be ordered online if they are not available in a store near you. I hope this information helps. You will figure this out, Lou, with or without doctor's help! We want you feeling your best!! .

A friendly tip for the blueberries in your cake: dip them in flour, whatever flour you use, before putting them in the cake batter. This will keep them from sinking to the bottom, looks good though! Hope you had a happy birthday!

That soup looks very good. I'll have to try it. I've never used a spoon to peel hard boiled eggs. Another thing to try. I usually boil the water first then submerge the eggs so they start cooking immediately and I also start a timer. Cracking the eggs on the bottom (the wider part of the egg) breaks the air bubble inside and the shell usually comes off since air seeps in between the shell and egg once that bubble breaks. 👋🏽
