Loud Delta McDonnell Douglas MD-88 Takeoff N917DL

Here is a nice and loud video of an MD88 (N917DL) takeoff from Dayton, OH. This is aircraft was retired on June 2, 2020 at 32.2 years old. Its last to flights were Sarasota to Atlanta (DL2247) and finally Atlanta to Blytheville (DL9763) and was one of the last in a group of 7 to make their final flight that day. The Pratt & Whitney JT8D-200 series jet engines on these are crazy loud and are actually band st some airports! This is seat 34E. So enjoy this final Mad Dog now that it has been completely retired .
