Loud Florida thunderstorm - 2nd August 2022 (GoPro + iPhone footage)

Another intense line of thunderstorms developed over Orlando on the evening of the 2nd of August, 2022. This line of storms warranted a severe thunderstorm warning, with the risk of strong wind gusts and large hail. While it was pretty windy outside, I didn't spot any hailstones.
Including timestamps with good lightning strikes isn't necessary for this video as there are too many!

There are more thunderstorms in Florida than any state. They average 90-110 thunderstorms per year in Florida, mainly from April-October.

Here in Southern California, summer thunderstorms are rare. Most thunderstorms here occur usually in December, January, February, and March. Especially during El Nino.

In Hollywood movies and TV shows, they almost always show lightning happening at the same time as thethunder, which, of course, is impossible. The speed of sound is only 714 MPH. Light travels 186,000 MPS, which is much faster than sound.

Wow man that storm look pretty bad with all that lightning you probably had fires because of cloud to ground lightning but a good video
