Horizon Productions SFL, I'm planning on moving there this year. Knowing these stats, is it still a good place to live?
@uriahromero61827 жыл бұрын
Jonathon Kearney more or less, just don’t go outside during a storm, get food and water for hurricanes (if you don’t worry during the storm you will be fine), don’t swim in any body of water from dusk till dawn, stay hydrated, and you will be good.

I moved from louisiana to southern oregon 4yrs ago. I miss the food, the lightning bugs, and the true rainstorms...the ones that wake you up or make you pull over on the interstate or make you stand in your yard and watch the sky change, feel the wind, smell the perfect chaos of a true rainstorm. I'm not sure I'll ever move back, but thank you thank you thank you for this recording...it eases my spirit.

I feel ya. Florida girl born and raised. Moved to the Mid-West almost 10 years ago. I miss my daily thunderstorms with smell of ozone in the air, southern cookin', those hot humid nights where you can feel the single drops of sweat running down your back under your shirt. Rain so thick you have to pull off under an overpass and get out to wait till it let's up some, the smell of hot asphalt and water fresh in your nose. Good memories.

You should of been here when I was a kid. Every Summer afternoon at 3 the thunderboomers would be blasting with frequent lightning. Even from a distance you could hear loud thunder frequently. Also steering was faster so storms usually didn't sit on top of you more the 10-20 min.

Hello my name is Beryl, and I’m from Tampa, Florida. I don’t know about everyone else out there, but this is the kind of rain, and thunder that I’ve been missing. I moved too Minneapolis, Minnesota. Unfortunately, one of the most things I miss by not being in Florida besides the great taste of Southern food is the awesome sound of a great rain and thunderstorm! This is the most relaxing sound too me, the thundering and rain is what gives me my best nights sleep! I have quite a few neck and upper back problems 6 too be exact, including Rheumatoid Arthritis. I stopped taking my medicine years ago, they only made me drowsy and sleep a lot. Life was passing me by very quickly! I wanted too personal tell you that “you are awesome” and please if only for me too keep sending these! I also have a couple of saying! This too shall pass! What doesn’t kill you, will make you stronger! Thanks! Please have a great day, because that’s what I’m going to do!😷😀

Commenting on this SAT 1/25/20 from southern RI at 6am EST...Nice nice live thunder sounds that you got...Just curious as to what high-quality audio-recording device you used? I myself use an array of my own cassette tape recorders to audiotape the thunder........I myself have been audiotaping live Tstorms since 4/27/73..and got over 1000 audiotapes of thunder from many places....western LINY, and here in southern RI...even in Florida from April/May of 1978.....I also began videotaping Tstorms on 6/2/89...and since 7/28/89...I got many of my videos here on KZbin. There is even a chance of thunder tonight at my place this SAT 1/25/20...here in southern RI....where I now live....I shall be ready.....and BTW..I am happily the 288th viewer to have marked ''LIKED VIDEO''..here......I like what I did in 2/88...((February 1988))... as 1988..I had some real duzies' Tstorms on 6/26/88 and on 7/10/88...episodes of real thunder here in southern RI for hours on end..all gladly on audiotape too....As many countless people are ADDICTED to drugs/alcohol/tobacco.....but for me..I have the very very same such addiction of recording the sounds of THUNDER..videoing the such Tstorms too........and have been audiotaping thunder for almost 47 years now....probably long before you and many of your viewers here were even born.

I can’t believe people like sleep to this and seek it out I hate loud storms at night Loud a$$ thunder only serves as rude awakening It’s definitely not soothing 😂 I don’t mind storms that are more so low rumbling at night or if it’s during “awake hours” (so even night if not sleeping hours) But sleeping to it? Definitely not
