needs a good set of mufflers on it. with straight pipes all the pleasing tones created by the engine are mixed with the bad garbage(brappp) sounds. Mufflers cancel out the bad noise and leave you with the pleasurable tones you want to hear. If a cop hears that go by he thinks noob immediately gonna pull this kid over. He hears a set of flowmasters or magnaflows and thinks damn i wish my truck sounded like that, screw pulling him over im headed to autozone to get a set of pipes like that.

But, it does have that MOPAR sound, just like the other three brands have their distinctive sounds. I got a '76 Plymouth Trailduster, with a 318, bored 20 over, with 340 heads, Weiand High-Rise, Dual Plane intake, 1" Mr. gasket Spacer, Summit Racing Valve Covers, a K&N air cleaner, and a 625 Street Demon 4 barrel carb to top it off with. Runnin dual-exhaust with glasspacks, 2" pipes, and stock exhaust manifolds. Even with my worn out glasspacks, mine has a deeper, more throaty growl to it. I have not messed with the cam, pistons, or crankshaft, (previous owner bored it, but didn't do anything else) and I'm still pushing 315 HP, and probably close to that on Torque. Got 32" Kenda Klever Mudding tires, and an awesome 4x4 to back it up with. Have never gotten stuck, even with driving in some pretty serious weather in a short stent in PA. Mud poses no problem, and with slight effort (due to a carb that needs to be finely tuned and a lame cam) I can easily peel out. You can usually hear me from a mile away, through trees, and that's with just cruising. Will have to say you have a couple things goin for ya with decent tires, 4x4, good bumpers, and loud pipes, but definitely not something I would claim Loudest Dodge Ram with. For just a Dodge Ram you have done some pretty good cosmetic work, with the rails, toolbox, bumpers, and a cool dash/ front half of interior, and for what it is you can be proud of what you've put into it, but I actually like the toolbox, rails, running boards, and front bumper better than the sound. Go with some Magnaflows or something to give it a stronger, deeper tone.

Dont get me wrong, Putting a manual transmission in a big truck build for america is not the best thing you can do as a company. Of course I know that there are many manual transmissions who can handle a big truck, but remember that manufactures like dodge build these trucks to make profit. Not to make the ultimate petrolhead truck. Btw. English is indeed not my first language, and I do have spent a big part of my life on cars. But the fact that you say that I should cut my fingers off make imagine that you're one of those young boys that hate on everything on the internet. Really? Because when I floor it in my truck, the RPM's go up as does the sound. Let's also realize that not every single fucking vehicle in the world was made with a manual transmission. So why leave a shitty quiet stock exhaust on a truck when you can put an aftermarket one on? Next time you listen to an automatic accelerate, notice that the pitch does actually fucking change.

Noah Robertson the exauhst note increasing was not realy mentioned all they said was a manual was better and stronger which is 100% true they simply stated that the exhaudt is not steady on automatics unless applying almost full power which is true to for all the vacum linse and shift chanles that and automatic has not all cars have to be an automatic quite getting butt hurt over being corrected instead learn a thing or to yes you can put an aftermaket exauhst on an automatic it would hust sound better on a manual vehicle for the exhaust notes would be sustained and crisper
