Ok I’m not that good with all the numbers ! To say the least it has always been sealed with a lot of power but I’m dealing with a subwoofer that’s not recommended for a sealed enclosure but I can run band pass like 4th order playing into the sealed area and ported put the back so small sealed and large ported or 6th order like a wall build bottom chamber comes up the back wall of the area the baskets are in and out the front with all the rest of the sounds that would be series now parallel it would be two separately ported boxes playing out two different tuning frequencies then depending on what “S” u use on how flat your response will be between the two frequencies of the two chambers of the box but they say 8th order is got a bigger flat frequency area but it’s way to much for me to take on I learned that a round port is way more efficient like 68 sq inches of port for slot port = 50 square inches because of the efficiency it’s a good little bit and you can leave part of your port out side the box so I’ve seen this on a couple builds and just wounder can this be duond well i located a peace of 8 inch pvc pipe and with 63 sq inches of pipe and 6.5 cubic feet box would be tuned to 17 hz and all I have to do to go higher on hz is shortin port with 48” inches out side the box I could tune it easy still having pot out side the box and never taking the pipe out of the box just trimming off the out side so I think I’m gonna do something different also maybe I can get on you tube from Jacob I’m gonna build my box the main part long tall and narrow with the pipe comming up over the middle of my rear bench seat up between the. Bucket seats in the front of my 04 4Runner every one said you’ll blow your windshield out I feel like Ralphy you’ll shoot you eye out on the Christmas story I said I don’t care I’m doing it I e even thought about tilting

Shit's bottoming out. 4:25. It's a stiff sub so it resets but he's definitely slapping the back-plate. Still, I don't many any 8s that can handle 800w of spikes and that amount of xmech abuse.

You must not watch many SPL video's, 9 out of 10 people will throw over double RMS rating at their subs, all depends on box designs & frequency that you do it on.
