Simonize41 yep that is so true. He spoke the truth and was straight up. It was the way he came across to people thats why people did'nt take him seriously. If they stood back a minute and think what he just said they all would of.

I'm from a very tiny Appalachian town in Alabama, born in the '60's, so we never got interesting or different music on the radio around here. I'll never forget when my best friend introduced me to her elementary school best friend who had just returned stateside from her daddy being in the Army, stationed in Germany...when she made a cassette copy of Nevermind the Bollocks. My life changed. I am grateful to Mr. Lydon for being the sole motivating factor for me to learn as much about and hear as much music as possible the rest of my life! It helped a lot when I finally moved away from the small town to Atlanta...

I love Johnny Rotten. The only person who could make him back down was Judge Judy. LOL !!!!
@99EKjohn6 жыл бұрын
John isnt one to disrespect people who haven't disrespected him. Once she pointed out that she had not disrespected him, he realized he was the one in the wrong. That's what makes him a man and not a baby. I wouldn't call that Judy making him back down though. That was them showing each other mutual respect.
@patrickrobinson3176 жыл бұрын
He apologized. That is backing down.

I just consider that being a man and showing respect. I have never seen the whole show though. That's the only time I've seen John disrespect someone without reason to. Probably embarrassed him some to come off like a twat.

Johnny is probably one of the freest human beings on the planet. He doesn’t conform to others rules or conventions. He’s like the last human being in “invasion of the body snatchers”. I never particularly liked him, but greatly admired the fact that he is always true to himself, he’s never been afraid to call bullshit out, always has from a young age. Good for him.
