I'm a drummer myself, been in a few bands (although not currently), and I loved hearing great bass playing as it really can get you in the groove for the song. One of my own favorites was N.I.B by Black Sabbath.

I have a beef with Geezer. I was supposed to see Sabbath (with opener Quiet Riot) in the fall of 1983 in Vancouver with my dad, they were his all time favourite band even with Ian Gillan on Born Again, but Geezer had a bout of bronchitis and they cancelled the show. I never got to see Sabbath live, my dad however took his girlfriend to Vegas a couple weeks later to see them and left me in Vancouver because of school. I'm still pretty upset about missing that show with my dad.
