They cut on me in o8 L4, L5, S1, took out three dis and put in two cages. It never healed right I love to lift hard and heavy. But I fight the pain every morning, I've power lift in the 90s and miss it so much there is no hard core gyms in this town.im miss the power lifters.I go to the YMCA but it's not the same. Tom. Im serious man, westside has always been my main source of information for sports training but recently (when you became a part of the crew) things became significantly better. More podcasts, more activity on social media, better website. Idk if youre responsible for all of it but the correlation is there. Keep up the good work. Also, john quint is a fucking genius

only part way through, and while some of the info seems really good, some stuff doesn't add up. How on earth does the reverse hyper "train" the psoas. I agree with Louie that it allows the athlete to relax the psoas, but "training" it? You're lying on a table.

This is amazing! I wish I was able to use these machines. I have an Artificial Disc at L3-L4 and a Titanium Fusion at L5-S1. As well as an Artificial Titanium Hip. I weigh 220 + and have just begun to Compete again for NASA Powerlifting. Squat - 409lbs Bench - 327lbs Deadlift - 490lbs. I am only 43 years old. I have plenty in the tank!

I made a make shift reverse hyper at home and after suffering from chronic low back pain for years (deadlift injury) the pain vanished in 4/6 sessions of unloaded reverse hypers. This guy is a genius. Period.

Nautilus in 1978 had a great lower back in a supine position machine. I loved it. The last machine resembles the movement. They are prone though.

Probably one that Rogue manufactures for Westside. I have the Westside Scout Hyper and it's awesome. Really glad I purchased it. It's affordable and has the smallest footprint you'll find for a reverse hyper.

The strap model is our most used one. The bent pendulum is the hardest one.

We've had a few lifters come through with such an issue. They ended up benefiting from ultra high rep reverse hypers and long sled drags with light weight holding a med ball low on the hips.

The reverse hyper is a terrible exercise for someone with a posterior disc bulge, which is most people over the age of 40!
