I have had this exact conversation with tons of people. Louie CK is on another level tho in his funny analysis of everything. He's extremely engaging and focused. It's bizarre to see how well spoken and intelligent this guy is after being so accustomed to his character
@bassface149 жыл бұрын
I really loved the last question, and his answer. That was not the answer I was expecting and I think it really showed that beneath all of the layers of ignorance, sarcasm, and sweaty masturbation - Louis is just a really good guy. You can kind of see his face when he talks about the show - Because he was saying what made the show so great is that his audience WAS his show. He realized it meant a lot to them, and in turn it means a lot to him. When I was in the military, shit like that was like a hot cup of coffee and a bottle of Jack Daniels after a week in a cold, wet heap of mud.

A lot of comments here are saying she is into him. She is definitely impressed by him. I would probably act similarly if I were talking to him even though I'm a straight male. He's not just a celebrity, he is, in my mind, the greatest stand-up ever. I would be staring at him with doe-eyes hoping he didn't think I was an arsehole. That said, she might be into him sexually, but I would say that people are jumping the gun here. If she looked at me like that, I would say I'd be in. But I'm not a comedy superstar, so I'd doubt she'd ever be that fascinated by me, so I could assume it's probably sexual interest (or a very strong platonic feeling from her, but that is fairly rare). On another note, keep the sexual comments respectful guys. She's super cute but let's not go posting lewd comments about her (there is a line between expressing sexual desire and expressing a lack of respect). Let's stay classy, San Diego. We can do it.

Aside from all the comments here talking about banging the chic, Louis is actually discussing important points about modern day over materialism and humans incapability to appreciate things. Most likely because he has lived before technology and after technology has come out. Most new age humans dont realise how much easier life has become for us. Then again as Louis says its not personal its a human condition. Never ever satisfied with what we have and always want more. In other words, we are never happy. Great interview.

Being critical is what keeps up moving towards an improved society. Of course the ultimate goal is unreachable, and one could make the argument that it is better to be happy with something bad than to be displeased with something better. But I say we keep going, boats against the current, in the struggle to achieve.

I love this interview. It is exactly what it should have been. My enjoyment of it, like so many things, is probably directly related to the atmosphere I'm in right now. It's cold outside, there's a blanket of snow on the ground, it's midday and the sunlight is filtered through the clouds and shining through the window into my living room where I'm watching this on my laptop. If it was a nice, warm day and I was holed up in here, I'd still think it's a good clip, but I'd feel shitty about myself, wasting the day on my computer instead of being outside, taking advantage of such beautiful weather. It all makes perfect sense in my head. I'm just not always good with explaining things. I hope you get what I mean though
