I saw an amazing example of this in 2007 with Dave Brubeck before he passed. Dude could barely walk, had to be helped up to the stage. Once he started playing the piano he looked like he was 20 years old again.

Back in the day the algorithm really wanted me to listen to LC, and so I, not wanting a computer to calculate my taste, decided I would despise him instead. This went on for many months, until this song came out, and naturally I had to listen to it. When I did, my favorite part was that lefty drummer that was going off, and long story short, he is now an all time favorite of mine. When I had the chance to meet him not too long ago, I told him that exact story, and he said it all went according to plan. I appreciate this songs immense reverse psychological capabilities

Mono and Sco yes, the drumming and organ aren't good. The drumming is constantly just like a bunch of balls being dropped out of a gym bag on the floor, there is no lightness to the touch or flourishes, it's just straight thud thud thud. Organ made facial expressions for trivial cliched riffs. The others should not be on the stage with Scofield and Mono.
