I sometimes think that Muslims from other countries don't have a historical appreciation of Islam in America, especially in the black community. Plus, I find it disingenuous how certain Muslims will tell us that we aren't practicing "true Islam" yet sell haram items in our communities. So, I understand why Muslims in America (NOI, Moorish Science, orthodox Islam) are very leery and have strong reservations of Muslims from other countries and how they have (historically) conducted themselves in our communities.

It’s amazing how different the aging process is in different people. In this video, Farrakhan and Muhammad are the same age, Farrakhan being born in early 1933 and Muhammad born in October 1933, yet Muhammad looks much older and died not long after this meeting at which time in 2001, they were both 68. Muhammad died in 2008 at 74

I don't really blame him, because he would not have been successful if it weren't for Farrakhan and other hypocrites (claim they believe but don't) allowing it to happen. Warith worked closely with FBI and knowingly lied about many things. He should have made his own group which is perfectly fine with me even if I don't agree. Peace

A lot people intrepid the Honorable Elijah Muhammad's teachings as purely literal, which is incorrect. They can't separate the literal from the figurative. The teachings primarily was meant to clean-up and civilize blackman and woman of America. Which, would lead and prepare them to path of Islam. Some of our people are still stuck in Christian thinking (god coming in the person of a human being). That's not Islamic.

Peace. Yes, that is the teaching of his father, who was strong and black, but knew America at the time and how he could not come himself. Marcus Garvey is a good example. WD Fard was able to gain thousands of followers in the shadows until the Robert Harris sacrifice situation.

That is what I understand from this interview....Also Ive attended meetings and they never seem to read from the Quran until Ramadan or on their own time. Within the mosque they read the bible. At least the few months Ive been going. I asked what makes Fard different than what Jesus is to Christianity and have not gotten a straight answer

What makes Master Fard Muhammad different than the Jesus is to Christianity is that Jesus was sent by the father, he wasn't anointed with power to crush his enemy back then. Master Fard Muhammad studied 42 years of hidden ancient texts and literature and sciences not known to this world. He has mastered the creation that the creator God created. There has never been one like him. He has the capacity and capability to make us like him to a less degree. We literally can be like Jesus, if we pick up our cross and follow him (Farrakhan) to the father (MFM). So the Christians are not fully wrong, they are just looking at the past and not realizing the prophecies that are being fulfilled. We have a living Jesus (Farrakhan) leading us to the father (Elijah Muhammad) and Allah (MFM). This takes time to digest and understand.
