In the first part of my trip (June-November, 2025 - returning to Australia until the end of March to avoid the Canadian winter), I'll need to bring along six months of my medication. I'll have to figure out a medication supply solution beyond that. Absolutely stunning scenery!

It looks like everything I see about Croatia across all types of channels leeds to the conclusion that the coast and villages are just the best to be seen. Dubrovnik might be way too busy or has way too many tourists, but unfortunately you see that with so many cities, Carcassonne and Rocamadour in France are both very characteristic and pittoresque, but also giant tourist traps at the same time. A pity, but so true

Yea besides super touristy Dubrovnik (and a few other places in Croatia), it’s very beautiful!

So which one is better for cycling - Croatia or Spain?
@gordonm.macdonald9743 Жыл бұрын
I have been following your progress from Slovenia to South America, you guys are amazing, and there is no doubt that you will circumnavigate the globe. I wish you the best of luck complete success. If I may ask a question, what type of drone are you using, the footage is amazing, and can you tell me why you chose that drone. I am travelling to Corsica, Sardinia, and Sicily in September and could use some good advice. Bon voyage, Gordon

Thank you! 😊 We have a DJI Mavic Mini (the first version) and use the Litchi fly app with it so we can "flatten" the image more (so we can then color grade it better later). We wanted a drone under 250g in weight so we don't need a permit for it in many countries. And at the time our drone was the best in that category. Currently the DJI Mini Pro is probably the best under 250g. 😊

How's the back tyre going? It's been hot here in the UK. I have a friend in Croatia - he's been there for 30 years now, almost a local. There is a brand new bridge in the village there now. I'm a cyclist and i live in the Pennines - most hills here are pretty steep and roads in bad shape and not all road users are good toward cyclists! I use paths a lot and cross country. I've subbed your channel.
@louisaandtobi3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for subscribing! :) the back tyre is much better. The new rim tape solved the problem for good. We also saw loads of new bridges and roads being built in Croatia, we think it’s part of the project to divert the main road around the coastal part of Bosnia.

Hello i have a question, is it hard to find spot for wild camping and is any problems with doing wild camping in Croatia??
@louisaandtobi10 ай бұрын
In Croatia it was generally not too difficult to find a wild camping spot. Only sometimes directly on the coast it's more difficult as it's pretty busy and touristy there.

When you stay at a Warmshowers host's place, do you ever leave a thank you gift? If so, what do you leave? I always wonder about this.
@louisaandtobi3 жыл бұрын
No, we haven’t given anyone a gift yet - that would also be hard to transport on a bike. But if we go out with our hosts, we usually invite them to some drinks :)
@WheelsonaBike3 жыл бұрын
@@louisaandtobi Yes! It would be difficult to carry thank you gifts on a long bike tour, but I often wonder how people express their appreciation to hosts.
