That takes balls of steel and insane chops. I don't think 99% of people realize the madness of what he's doing there. As huster3of4 says... it's just insanity.

I don't know music theory, but maybe this unique harmony and recognizable sound somehow has to do with this. Don't know why but still not tired to listening them again and again. @Michael Lochlann By combining modern jazz with pop they do such a good thing to promote such music to a wider auditory. I was really satisfied to hear that Let It Happen was nominated for Grammy. That was the same joy for me as when Thundercat won his Grammy on It Is What It Is.

This one shares a lot of similarity to 'Don't Care', sounds, basslines, textures etc. Particularly the verse at 1:40. Very intentional. Also the little horn riff at 2:33 is exactly the same as the one in 'When You're Ugly'. Louis tends to re-use little licks, chord patterns and note choices across many of this songs to create his distinctive sound.
