You gotta be pretty dumb to jump off of a boat in the middle of the ocean. The thirst for praise for doing dumb things is strong. Being egged on to do dumb things by others that would never be dumb enough to do those things, is pure comedy gold. The only life lesson is if people are daring you to do something, it means they think you are dumb enough to do it, and if you do it, then you prove their point. If jumping off a boat is so cool, then how come nobody else jumped off? Maybe he should've asked that before jumping.

This is an explanation of why teenagers do risky things without thinking about the consequences. Their prefrontal cortex has not fully developed. It doesn’t fully develop until the age of 25. That’s why when we all think back about stupid stuff that we did as teens, or even young adults, we shutter to think about what could’ve happened to us in hindsight. Research has found that adult and teen brains work differently. Adults think with the prefrontal cortex, the brain’s rational part. This is the part of the brain that responds to situations with good judgment and an awareness of long-term consequences. Teens process information with the amygdala. This is the emotional part. That’s why you jumped with no hesitation when you were 18 bc you weren’t thinking with the rational part of your brain. I could’ve died so many times from stupidity as a teen and young adult. I thank god that I’m still here today!

The facts from the video released : If you look close you can see a shark at the beginning on the left. It looks like a wave but its the dorsal fin.
