They really dropped the MV at 7.28am on 7/28 🤣 Dedication! The MV has left me feeling dread and I can feel the despair and hopelessness off of them ;w; Nothing good can come out of this CD, I'm sure of it. The Emergency and Help signs all over the MV don't help. I also feel like I need the drama tracks to make anything of this MV so for now I'll just come up with theories using the symbolism from the MV, I'll be back with an edit/reply once I listen to the drama tracks - Here we go! I'll start with the Dead Sea - It's one of the lowest point on Earth and collects large volumes of water but disperses none, though some of the water does get evaporated. Its salt concentration is so high no fish or vegetation can survive, although it does provide valuable resources and is used as a place for healing. In some religious texts, it is prophesied that a time will come when the Dead Sea’s toxic waters would be transformed into a fresh River of Life, with lots of fish and plenty of fruit for food and leaves that will never wither for healing. It's also said that the destroyed cities of Sodom and Gomorrah can be found under the Dead Sea. Do Loulou*di feel they're currently trapped in the middle of the Dead Sea? That also works with the Backdoors visuals later in the MV. But one day, even this place could become a flourishing place that will sustain life and provide healing, their new world... Similarly, we see bubbles in the sea and even Ageha himself in a bubble on the sea's surface. Bubbles in water symbolise healing, renewal, purity and clarity. Also the cycle of life and death, given how they rise towards the sky only to burst and fall back down. In track L 3-9, we already see this change appear in Ageha, where following a break from work (which he tells Rui is only a temporary dream they're experiencing, given how peaceful and pleasant it is and their real job is to fulfil Loulou*di's duty), he becomes calmer as though he has some clarity now - He'll simply leave behind the greatest song as he shamelessly struggles to live and then die. While this was what Rui claims he wanted, he's struggling with this change in Ageha. At 0:54, Ageha in the snow globe can represent feelings of comfort but for only a short duration (just like when they were on break from work) but more importantly, if one dreams of a snow globe during a difficult time at work, it indicates the person will feel well when they finish that complicated task - Basically suggesting that Ageha will only feel truly at peace and no longer struggle when all this is over. The way the screen tilts at 1:05 with Rui may indicate he's not so certain about how things are going now and especially his feelings towards the current Ageha but also they may just literally be on a ship! The grandfather clock first shown at 1:08 indicates the passage of time or an approaching deadline. It could also mean one is holding on to old habits or suggest one's methods have become outdated. Again from the last CD, Track L 3-10 shows Loulou*di have started using new methods, have come up with a new plan to gain attention. But also how Ageha is reaching his end soon, as he himself claims. The carousel at 1:17 represents the idealisation of childhood innocence, the constancy of life and fate and a journey that's an illusion. Does following Loulou*di not work out for Toki? Does he want to go back to his past with Haruta in it? In dreams, the carousel represents memories of the past and childhood freedoms but may also signify moving around a central object (becoming aware of one's true self) as going around in circles means not achieving anything. Does he overcome the misunderstandings around Haruta? The staircase into the sky at 1:30 can symbolize one's effort and drive towards achieving their goals, how they have no boundaries towards their goals. It can represent growth, transition, change or simply advancing at work. 2:22 This one baffles me at the moment - At first I thought maybe the dog could represent Rui (he did in the beginning call himself Ageha's dog--) and the black butterflies could represent Ageha. After consuming he dog, it turns into a bear. Now we know Toki's bear represents him but this isn't the same bear. Is it possible that Ageha just wants to turn Rui into a being like Toki, who looks up to him and hangs off his every word? Not sure about this one. The infinity mirror at 2:35 puts your life force into a loop, creating a disharmonious atmosphere. Mirrors generally symbolise the threshold between the conscious and unconscious mind and reflects the truth. With the infinity mirror, reflections get smaller, darker, and harder to see, could this suggest it's getting harder for them to see themselves? The elevator first seen at 2:54 can represent success if it's going up as normal but if it's too fast there's a mixed meaning. The positive connotation is an indicator of an unexpected and sudden rise in your position or situation. The negative connotation is that you’re ignoring the warning signs and you’re taking things too fast, even though you need to be steady. If it's too fast, it may be a sign of needing to slow down and if it's taking you to the wrong floor, this could indicate you're doubting your decisions, that you might not be on the right path. Note in the MV, there are many kinds of stairs, particularly ones going down. We also see Ageha at the bottom of some stairs at 3:06. Since it seems Ageha in particular is going down to dark places, this could point to the dark thoughts he's having, especially if he's slowly going down the stairs, the negative thoughts can take you away from your goals and dreams (3:12 shows his Loulou*di self which is only a reflection here, not his actual self, fitting with the lyrics about idols not being real but fabricated). We also see him sitting near a reservoir, further representing the unconscious mind, one's potential and emotional energy. In general, going down stairs symbolises having problems and making the wrong decision, so things get worse everyday. Interestingly, walking on all kinds of different stairs could represent insanity. One could be feeling slightly insane, dispersed, fragmented and lacking focus and direction. There could also be an interest in all sorts of mental disorders or role-playing personalities... Save Loulou*di please. 3:26 looks like Rui may still be working towards achieving Ageha's ideal despite it all. 3:34 Toki in the nursery could symbolise an environment that helps with growth and cultivation, especially emotionally. It could also indicate a new part of yourself being born that needs love and nurturing. Maybe meeting Haruta in this CD will help Toki? However, the boiling water at 3:42 can indicate impending misfortune. It can be an omen of disease or an accident. But here a kettle is being used, which represents the need to get down to the bare essentials of an issue that's been weighing you down for some time. Again this points to the situation with Haruta. The frozen rose can indicate that love isn't easy and can be painful and full of sorrow, but it's still beautiful. From 3:54, this is where I feel really uneasy, everything just falls apart, goes out of order, they're just descending into insanity is how it feels like. Especially with the helpless lyrics here, nothing is what is seems and is fake or wrong. Their fans and viewers however, still idolise them and want them to achieve even more. What should Loulou*di do? At 4:32, even their dream leads to a dead end. Andddd 5:00. Who is xxxxx. Honestly, I'm hoping it's Kaito, not just because I am dying to learn more about him (they're always avoiding talking about him and it's driving me crazy) but also because he managed to escape this whole place. I like to think he hasn't died but has been 'reborn', ideally now living a 'normal' life after leaving the project but who knows. The breaking of the chains (we've seen these kind of chains in the Perfect Pride MV) followed by the wheelchair may indicate Toki gets to break away from the HanaDoll* Project and go back to his old life? The turning off of the screen does suggest an end. The drama tracks can't come any sooner, Anthos*' last CD already left me feeling terrible, just put me out of my misery ;w;

I've survived through the drama tracks! Yeah. ... I read through my previous analysis again and I kinda want to kick myself after that final comment about Kaito, yes I was dying to find out more _but I didn't want to find out like this_ 😭 I didn't mean the pun either. To think it was the complete opposite, my hopes and heart are crushed. I hate what he went through and what Toki went through. It's pretty much the same for almost every idol under this production agency, they shouldn't have to go through all this. Though after listening to this CD, I did realise something. Rui is pretty much perfect for this project, given his abnormality around emotions which he's had since birth, he won't suffer mentally at least. Which may be why he ended up with the Gracious Gray rose. Roses are considered the most beautiful flower in the world after all. However, since it's the Gracious Gray than say, a red rose, this might just hint how he's actually lacking because he won't be able to produce the emotions required to cultivate the seed. Similarly, Cherry Blossoms are high up the list, represented by Toki. He's being considered as a huge milestone for this project. Meanwhile, Ageha and Anthos*' flowers aren't so high up the list, could this be an indication of how successful they'll end up on this project? Interestingly, Chise and Haruta's flowers are on the list of most beautiful flowers too, does this say anything about their compatibility? Toudou-sensei has picked Chise already and after the events with Toki, they'll have to keep an eye on Haruta... We'll have to wait and see. Oh yeah and the whole Lihito and Ageha episode? They had planned this since Umbilical Lover's MV at least, the signs were always there but I always wanted to believe that Lihito won't fall for Ageha's plans but here we are, on the way to pain 😭 On to some updated analysis, spoilers below: Back when I talked about the Dead Sea, it was said that "It is prophesied that a time will come when the Dead Sea’s toxic waters would be transformed into a fresh River of Life" - Could this be linked to the new ampoule? It was the new ampoule which gave Toki a new life. Just in terms of the sea in general, the MV starts off with some rough waves and I believe this represents the state of Loumiel at the moment, following the launch of Loulou*di's online music channel. A lot of their original fans aren't fond of this new project they've taken up and things are pretty messy. It is suggested that while Loulou*di themselves won't be abused directly, the private online boards are pretty rough, just like the sea is here. I think that's why only Ageha is in the bubble, he's protected from it because some people see him as a sacred being so they can't directly harm him. He's in his own bubble, his own little world, separate from reality. Just like the snow globe at 0:54, which symbolises a tiny world suspended in time between stillness and movement. The only way for him to escape that world is to break the snow globe but Rui is looking over it, protecting Ageha and his envisaged world. He'll do anything to make Ageha's vision become real. It should also be noted that Ageha has been protected from the truth surrounding Kaito too, that Rui hasn't told him about - It's not known what he was told but it certainly wasn't the truth to protect his mental health and physical state. 1:18 - Can confirm that the carousel represents Toki's childhood, which we saw in track L 3-13. Toki did not deserve all that at all, my heart cried for him. But he did admit he wanted to go back to those days and he did highly value the promise he made with Haruta. I can't say that's the case anymore after track 3-15 though. 1:32 Can I assume that Toki being much higher up than Ageha and Rui indicates he's the closest to perfection within Loulou*di, as a doll? We don't know what perfection looks like exactly, thus the stairs leading to pitch black darkness. Otherwise, the website suggests about the CD jacket and stairs: "Three people in suits sitting on the stairs. The top is dim, and the bottom is lit. Are they really on their way up, or are they on their way down? How would you feel?" I feel they're on their way down overall if they keep going this way, especially from Loulou*di's perspective, even if things look like they're going well. But from AmagiriPro and the Medical Tower's perspective, they're going up and are becoming the perfect (i)dol(l)s. 1:53 I think is a direct reference to Loulou*di's music channel and comments from Loumiel and others. I almost wish the Loumiel had names so I could link them to the comments here but it's okay. Anyway, on the HanaDoll* website, the following passage is found when looking at the article around 'Dead Sea Note''s teaser: "The front world and the back world. How far will their voices as idols reach correctly? Or is correctness something that never existed in the first place? The special treasure in my hand might just be trash." In the first track, Ageha believes his message got through perfectly. But seeing the reaction of ex-Loumiel at the end of the track, I don't think this is the case. Things are not going exactly as he thinks, he's losing Loulou*di's original fans with this new project. Is he really going to dominate over everyone at this rate? Will everyone be looking up to Loulou*di? 2:23 Still a little unknown but I do think that the dog plush is representing Kaito and how he couldn't handle the project and what Ageha had planned for him, which resulted in Toki taking his place. Toki went through the exact same thing Kaito did but the result was different, he ended up in perfect condition, good as new as the bear seen here. 3:26 Loulou*di are still absolutely aiming for Perfection, thus Rui appearing in front of that hole as he will follow's Ageha's vision to achieve perfection. Again from the website, on the teaser for 'Growing Nightmare': "For whom is the 'perfection' that we are desperately seeking, and what is 'perfection' in the first place? At the final point, there may be “nothing”. I wonder how they will feel at that time..." Perfection may not be ideal, which is what they should maybe go for instead but that's what they've decided to go for. Let's see how it goes. 3:36 Toki, you didn't deserve that childhood, I am so sorry 😭 He just wanted a place to belong, be loved and call home. At least he seems to have got that now? Although I'm not a huge fan of what's happening with him... Again, the nursery represents a new version of Toki being born that needs love and nurturing, I still think this fits. The lyrics here go on to say "One day, if the truth I believed in would turn into (sea)foam, then it's all trash". The steam here also emphasises that he longer puts any value on his childhood promises with Haruta, it's all gone up in smoke, so the saying goes. 4:59 Toki was reborn after having taken the new ampoule, this only happened after he met Haruta again and ended up in the same state Kaito was in. Not sure why it's 5 letters so if I do go with it representing "Kaito", I suppose that means the idols needs to go through meetings that result in strong emotional impact (like Toki did with Haruta) to end up in Kaito's state, only then will they get the new ampoule and be reborn. I am dreading the upcoming Anthos* CD what with Ageha's "present" to them... >.< Then the breaking free scene from 5:01, followed by the wheelchair - Toki has been released from his childhood trauma and from being wheelchair bound. He's decided to exist only for Loulou*di and will live on as an idol. That's his reason to live. Finally from the HanaDoll* website on this full MV being released: "What is an idol? What does perfection look like for them? What kind of truth does despair produce?" I am terrified and don't want to know D: Good luck to us in the future, I feel like it's only going to hurt more... @@PurpleFullMoon Thank you for your hardwork in typing all that so quick! I learnt a lot more reading your thoughts and interpretation including the facts about the flower that I didn't notice about it at all. I am bad with words, and my japanese is self-taught so I might miss a lot of things especially whenever they're at the medical tower talking about all of those meds and experiment stuffs. About the 5 letters at 4:59 though, considering what happened to Toki, I would like to assume it's the 'truth' since Toki did ended up in that state once he faced the truth of what has been holding him back/haunting him head on. Plus with the Medical Tower staffs intended to do the same to Anthos*, and the state of Chise and Lihito right now, I think them facing head on with the truth of their trauma would make them ended up in that horrible state. But, Setsuna doesn't have his past memories, and Kaoru is missing a lot of them now, so I am not sure how they would go around with that. And 'truth' might not be it... Also yes, goodluck to us in the future, I am scared to know more but I am curious >

I realise I go overboard and write a lot but that comes from my fondness for this project 🤣 I too am self-taught and sit there getting through the tracks with a dictionary by my side, so I could definitely miss things. The flower stuff is a theory, not sure if it holds much weight but it might explain why Ageha was so mad at their flowers towards the beginning! I like your idea of it representing "truth"! It does fit given what they've been through/are going through. I too am curious about what this means for people like Setsuna, Rui and Kaoru too as on the surface it seems like they're not hiding much/accepted their pasts. Emphasis on seems because Setsuna is a whole enigma (Is he even aware of any trauma or his past? From his solo song, I assume he had someone important but he has no memory of them/lost them. Unless that person is actually Mahiro and they have met before in the past 👀) and while we had a monologue from Rui, I still don't feel like I know enough about him. AmagiriPro could just attack us with more tragedy out of nowhere though 🥲 I would love to learn more about Setsuna in particular but after what they did to Kaito, I'm too scared to ask 🥲 I know how you feel, AmagiriPro, don't hurt us too much! Even if you do though, I can't seem to leave 😅 I will always want more!

0:53 は2:14みたいなことかな 1:41 Emergency 恐らくLumielのコメントが見える部屋へ行く廊下。なぜ緊急事態。 Lumielのコメントが見える部屋ってバックルームみたい。 2:21クマのぬいぐるみと言ったら鬨だから、このクマのぬいぐるみを鬨だとしたら、亜蝶によって完璧にされる。黒い蝶たちがLumielだとしたらLumielに完璧にされる。華のカプセルはあくまでも種だからその後どうなるかは周りによるので華のカプセルの可能性は除外。 3:19 理想、真実、完璧がある中で理想を選ぶように示されてる。選ばざるを得ないのかは不明。 4:27 何を持って“人形”と言うなら何を持って“完璧”“理想(の世界)”と言うのか。 Lumielに応えようとしても身体に限界が来てそうだし、LumielもLoulou*diの勢いみたいなのが衰えてるのは分かってるのに信じたくないのか期待,応援(信仰)し続けてる。まぁ一種の宗教だよね。人を超越した何かになることは華があっても無理かと。まずどういう基準で“人を超越した”と言うのか。少し違うが、画面の左下に文字が流れるのBIRTHを思い出すね。
