There a depth to this drink that is hard to explain. The first sip was hmmm. Do I like this? The second sip was ok it's good, third I was hooked. As for so little time, be glad I don't have more time. If I had more time there would be more drinks😁

Thank you for making my favorite cocktail. Green chartreuse is hard to find these days, so I’ve been experimenting with other herbal liqueurs.

You are so welcome! Finding Green Chartreuse in my area isn't super difficult. I can go into the local stores and not see for weeks at a time, but I can find it. The taste reminds me of a Trinadad Sour in some ways. First sip was this is strange but every sip got better. Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm able to find it typically, at least a lot easier than most Bourbons but a few that people suggest are Genepy, Strega and Facci Brutte as substitutes. I haven't tasted any of them so I can't vouch for how close they really are.

Genepy is closest, but definitely not as good as Chartreuse. Strega is my second choice. For a completely different taste profile that is quite good, I will use Jagermeister. @@thomasbillings8847
