Laura's experience raises important questions about human responsibility. In a world where we are often focused on our own lives and problems, it's easy to forget that we are all connected, and that our actions (or inactions) can have a profound impact on others. My son would have been 39 today had he not chosen to go the way he did. If it wasn't for the communities I found through my grief, I'm not sure if I would be okay, 6 years on... I love your ideas Laura and I love seeing your radiant love in action! Thank you!

The phrase "that's my human responsibility" is really quite something... Especially in this age of individualistic focus and needs, there is definitely a responsibility that we should honour among one another, when strife and grief are coming at our neighbours in waves. I am so pleased to hear that she had support and a friend when some of the toughest times hit.

What Laura went through, it really points out the need for more awareness and resources for mental health. We need to prioritize this issue and break down the stigma surrounding mental illness.

@@avajayden1729 I don't think it's that hard to be a kind and compassionate person. Though perhaps we live in a society that makes it difficult for there to be opportunities to show this sort of kindness.

I really want to believe this idea, that it can release and transform the grief. I do believe it would be a force for positive change but I can't just take her words for it until I have had the opportunity to put my love in to action as well.

The fact that Laura's experience changed the course of her life is a testament to the power of human connection. Her encounter with the stranger in Ethiopia led her to question what it means to be human, and to think deeply about the responsibilities we all have to one another. It's a powerful example of how a single moment of compassion can have a ripple effect that extends far beyond that moment. It's also a reminder that we all have the power to make a difference in the world, even in small ways.
