im aware most people wont see this, but when i was in the seventh grade my brother was leaving to college. it was horrific to me to watch someone i love be dropped off so far away, which sounds extremely petty but i was a very sentimental kid, this song was my everything, it perfectly portrayed the action of letting go of something that is so difficult. “if i could i would come too, but the path is made for you” with such a strong sound this song had it brought out so much emotion for me. my dad also asked for me to play this at his funeral. ive never had a great relationship with him but he understood what this song felt like to the core and i will never break the promise of playing it for him.
