Instead of the usual watching weird reality tv shows on TLC, I’ve switched it up and watched an interesting relationship experiment on Netflix instead. The show Love is Blind answers the age old questions what happens when you speed run your engagement to someone you’ve never seen before? The show follows 30 singles hoping to find their life partner. For 10 days in a speed-dating format, the contestants date each other in different pods and after scoping each other out the guys can propose based on nothing but good ol fashion conversation. This show is trending on social media - especially on tiktok! I’ll be talking about Shayne, Natalie, Shaina, Kyle, Deepti, Shake, and the rest. Sad that he found a girl who liked the opposite of Sal. Valarie said she was tired of dating tough sports guys but when she has the opportunity to date a sifter man who was in touch with his emotions, she couldn't stay engaged and oddly enough, i dint think she was in touch with her emotions to figure that out. That Tell-All was pretty shameful. Jarette was literally checking for Val despite being taken because he wanted to eat his cake and have it too. He's a guy who is probably who girls like Val likes because he takes initiative and is more macho but it's shameful how both Jarette and Valarie tried to lie to this man after seeing the video if his shooting his shot. Sal deserved better than this. He deserves to love and be accepted and not be someone's 2nd choice via uncertainty.

May I recommend Love is blind: Japan? I’m watching it with my sister and is so good, way more serious and real than I expected, haven’t finished yet but I’m so invested already and I’m rooting for all the couples, the show makes u care about them and their stories are so romantic and cute, it shows real humans falling in love and how difficult it is to get to know someone in a short period of time. Edit: I finished the show, it was amazing, totally worth it, now I want to fall in love 😩💕

The internalized racism with Shake was so blatantly obvious. Shayna was like Jennifer from that earlier season of Love is Blind. Its like "oop my first choice has chosen someone else? Let me go to my back up dude!". With Mallory it was internalized sexism.
