What was not nice is the mean comments made by other girls in front of the camera. That was not right. It seemed like irina and zack knew early on it wasnt going to work. Thoughts: - I think the group dislike for Zack is based on him being kindof a jerk early on in the pods. I think it’ll blow over - Irina and Zack *bonded over trauma…or rather, Zack bonded - I know this is an edited show, but Irina and Micah are really immature and disrespectful. Clearly they were cast for being shitty (probably complex, but still shitty) people to generate drama - Micah was way out of line from the first moment meeting Kwame face to face. You dumped him and are engaged, so to offer to keep an open line of communication and “talk to him about anything” is messed up - Kwame… seriously? Micah insults you, then you have a giggly conversation with her and give her a lingering hug? Nah. - I think Jackie was upset that she hurt Marshall, but was handling it in an immature way. Whenever somebody does something hurtful, and then says to the person, “I just feel like you’re mad at me” to try to get them to deny it, it’s a red flag. - I didn’t like how some of the ladies were playing both sides with Micah and Chelsea. Oh, this makes sense about Zack. Because a number of the women think he is weird, but the men all seem to like him fine. I also really didn't like the playing both sides. I agree about the "feel like you're mad at me," although I imagine it must be particularly rough to have hard conversations through a wall where you can't read body language and with a person you've never had hard conversations with in person to have a feel for how they handle conflict (are they the type of person who tells you straight out "I am upset with you" do they more passive aggressively stew about it, etc). @Leela exactly. I knew he wasn't gonna choose Bliss when she confirmed how close she was to her family and how they never have approved of/thought anyone was good enough that she has dated. He wanted to avoid that at all costs and thought it would impact how Bliss would view him too. He is very much still that little boy in the McDonald's drive thru line with his mom. He needs to own it and the accomplishments he has worked for since that time. Bliss could have done a better job at reassuring him too but the reality is he isn't ready for a healthy relationship any way.

Two episodes in and I think the reason Zack did what he did is a combination of self sabotage and being attracted to mess that he can fix. From his memories of his mom and what she went through to raise him to his career choice of defending the possibly indefensible - or crusading for those who are innocent but in bad circumstances - I think he heard Irina’s story and projected a lot onto her early on. Anything anyone else told him he heard through the filter of his fantastical idea of this person he can heal and nurture. Bliss was intimidating to him, someone he may have to focus on his own growth with rather than being able to only worry about their well being. He was uncomfy with being nurtured himself.

I've watched a few seasons of the Australian version of Farmer Wants a Wife and it's honestly much better than the US version. The thing that really bugs me is that the episodes are only an hour and at least 10-15 minutes of that is recaps of what just happened and previews of what is going to happen. MY Theory on why Zach may have chose Irina is because he was hearing negative comments about her and wanted to believe she was better than that. Ultimately, the reason for doing so was because of his mom. With his mom being a former stripper and him growing up and talking about how people had mean things to say about his mother, I really believe he wanted to give Irina a chance since he seen first hand how people can be judgmental without actually knowing somebody on a deeper level. Unfortunately for him though Irina IS as a bad of a person as everyone thought she was. Hopefully she gets the help she needs because she’s to grown to be such a bully. Zach isn’t weird to me either. You can tell the show went out of their way to pick very horrible, mean women this season. Made it too obvious. Then added Tiffany to make it look like they were geniune in their casting because she is the only real one. The guys are very nice and respectful this season besides Kwame but i think he has a chance to turn around and realize he can have something good with Chealsea. Seems he is already seeing red flags with Micah... but u gotta understand he doesnt see or hear the things we see and hear at the moment because they dont see until after it airs too. So he didnt see and hear how nasty and mean she really is. Everytime she talked to him she had a fake facade almost double personality. She flips and switches. She legit had 2 different people inside her. And both are bad.

I thought the same thing. I read on a Reddit post from someone who (claims to) have worked on multiple reality shows that they make people take personality tests and select for volatile people with terrible communication skills. I've said for about a year now that these shows are starting to look more and more like exploitation by putting people who are most likely mentally ill in front of a camera and unleashing them on everyone.

It probably was a mix of all types of personalities but this time a bunch of the mean people were the most successful. Every season they have couples who get engaged that are not chosen to be filmed beyond the pods so there probably are some more who are better who got together. It does seem like production wanted to keep certain triangles together in this bunch. Will any of them work out? I wonder…

YES!! Thank you for validating all of my frustrations with these two interlopers~ They are definitely not there "for the right reasons". And I am glad that you connected there actions back to what they overheard happening with Jackelina. It really struck me when Irina used the "I'm going to pack my bags and leave" statement to manipulate Zach. I just don't understand how he fell for it after he told Marshall that he could clearly see she was playing "girl games". Ugh. I like him because at least he knows it's wrong to run back to Bliss now, but I am looking forward to seeing what the producers pushed him into in order to keep the cast going this season. Also, I am loving Kwame realizing how his initial attraction to Micah is not something to build a real lasting marriage on. Chelsea is a badass~~~
