Ultimately, I think that production ruined Aaliyah’s experience. As soon as they found out that Uche and Lydia had a past, they both should’ve been kicked off. Instead, they let them stay for a storyline and Aaliyah suffered the most. I don’t like how she was handled at the reunion, she wasn’t validating enough in my opinion. Milton and Stacy did somewhat though. Lydia also didn’t take accountability as much as I wanted her to. Out of her own mouth she admitted that she and Uche both discussed seeing the Love is Blind application so her saying that she had no CONFIRMATION that Uche would be there is just semantics. Also, getting close to Aaliyah and sharing all that info about Uche after Aaliyah set up that boundary was beyond out of order. I’m happy that Aaliyah is in a great relationship now but I hate that she had to go through that trauma and on live television at that. And Uche is a loser for not showing up to the reunion, y’all know that man hates being held accountable for anything. Stacy made the right decision and I’m glad that her and Izzy are no longer together. That man has bigger fish to fry. I was so happy that Taylor showed up with a full face of makeup and ate Mr. January 6 tf up!! Even now, he’s still so full of crap and isn’t being honest about why he was so quiet with her. I thought they did a decent job this time. I think they should have held Lydias feet to the fire a bit more and I think production should have showed the fight between Lydia and Aaliyah that Aaliyah referenced in the show on the phone to Uche. And they should have confronted Izzy about what he said about Stacey post wedding regarding her age. Other than that I think they did way better than other seasons.

As far as the way Lydia was looking at Aaliyah… Lydia is crazy she’s been looking like that the entire season…Milton is like a irritant because he claims to be so smart yet married a woman who came on the show trying to get back with her ex yet completely bypassed that. Lydia was so emotional with Uche because she’s still attached, yet somehow Milton is so smart that he couldn’t figure that out. That conversation they had at dinner told me everything I need to know about that marriage, Lydia runs that relationship and and Milton just deals with her drama and defends it. She never agreed with Milton he bypassed her behavior.

The way I see it is Lydia came in desperate to find love, so when she asked Uche 'is it a sign? Should we date?' It really sounded desperate and she was really taking it as a sign of God that he was in the experiment too. I truly believe she wasn't in it for Uche specifically. When he told her no, she backed off right away. Her only wrong was befriending Aaliyah and not respecting her boundaries. And my theory on the fact she befriended Aaliyah is because she saw her cry over Uche and knew what it was like since she also cried over him, but then again it was still messed up on Lydia's part.
