The people were actually genuine and had relatable issues which made it feel like a very refreshing watch. That’s what made it more entertaining because you can actually talk about and provide commentary for their “problems” whereas w america it’s like absolutely diabolical things that no regular/reasonable person is doing😭 I love American chaos but this change in pace with amazing hosts who actually cared about the plot and didn’t get lost on it was nice to see… that being said, Harry Jowsey is said to be in the next Love is Blind season and i do look forward to that drama

Since June, he has not given a damn about my health situation so I believe it is not sometimes them breaking up but stepping aside, which is kind of similar. Bet the same happened in Steven’s situation because for him saying that he didn’t know how his ex was doing, is very telling

I feel like something with the maria and Tom that's worth mentioning is she is from Morocco, where the dating culture is completely different from England. I don't think they ever discussed the inherent friction they might have to deal with coming from such different backgrounds and different values from their own upbringings, and the level of acceptance and grace they would have to give each other.

Her dating expectations seem more aligned with old traditional english values than anything else, like chivalry/ offering to pay/being a gentleman. With Maria's family being so supportive and openly loving, and being okay with letting Maria marry a non-Muslim man, their relationship didn't fall into any of the pitfalls most Moroccan or Muslim relationships with white westerners do. I don't think it had anything to do with culture but more so that they wanted vastly different things from marriage. Maria primarily wanted a family, while Tom wanted more of a business partnership type power duo arrangement.

What they edited out is that Ollie and Sharlotte had a very strong connection in the pods and he broke up with her and Cat on the same day. Sharlotte was so upset she left the show. In her mind, Demi was probably the other woman and she probably thought ollie made the wrong choice. Production could have told an entirely different story that would have made them all look different. Demi also stopped being friends with Jasmine after the reunion, for really no reason. And she was talking about Ollie behind his back in Greece but lied to him when he asked what she's been saying to people.
