I have been married for 15yrs and together for 20yrs. Boy oh boy...what a ride! I have thrown in my towel a few times but it's God's love toward me that kept me from completely walking away. I remember 10yrs ago I was going through another rough patch with my husband and I kicked him out and one night I was seeking guidance from God and my TV was on, suddenly my focus was on the TV and one of a TV character said 'Why are you giving up so easily?' That stays with me and i know God is cheering me on to keep my commitment and not to give up on my husband. Fast forward to 2018...in the last 2yrs I can say we are finally emotionally and mentally connected. Took us 18yrs of fighting and heartache to finally felt we are 'one'. All the drama and tears was God's way of working within both of us...he want us to have a strong marriage.. but first God is helping us building our foundation (through changes within oneself - working on our bad habits) and that foundation took us 18yrs!!!!! 18 longggggggg hard yearsssssss!! It is easy to get married but it is really really hard to STAY married. Anyway brother...have a Blessed day.

So wait....... It wasn’t the love you have for your husband that kept the marriage alive it was the love you have for some imaginary God......That’s gold maybe I should find a Christian woman I’m pretty sure I could very easily manipulate her using the barbaric text in the Bible. Deuteronomy 22:28-29 if I rape a Virgin woman I have to pay her father and then I have to marry her and we can never get a divorce as long as we both shall live. 🤦🏽♂️ do you agree that I should be allowed to marry her or should I go to jail for rape?

I knew this Title was going to bother some people because people have these fairy tale fantasies about marriage... but the reality is it takes more than love to keep a marriage together. People using the verse love never fails... the love didnt fail just because you got a divorce. That's what I am saying people will still love the other person the love is still there they just refuse to live and be with eachother anymore. It takes more than love.

I asked God for a husband because what I was doing, looking on my own wasn't working. I went in circles like this for most of my life. I went to the well and Jesus was there. Then one day I thought I didn't need a husband that Christ was and is sufficient for me. He then gave me a husband and I recently married him!
@Jambuc8296 жыл бұрын
Christine Cross God didn’t give you a husband because you asked for one. That’s actually very contradicting to the entire god has a plan plot. On one hand if god had a plan he was going to give you a husband without you having to ask. And if god gave you something just because you asked that means there was no plan and he out here granting wishes. Another question I have is why would god grant you the wish of a husband but let millions of kids die of starvation which is probably the most painful way to die. You ever ask yourself these questions. If you were god and millions of children reached up to you asking for nothing more than a warm bad and food would you could you ignore their cries of agony and hopelessness and reach out to a young woman who is eating good has a job in her right mind and find another man to “hook them up” with all the pain in this world why would god be playing match maker? Asking for a man with all this pain seems rather selfish to me also.

Sarah Lundeen Jesus will deny me because I don’t believe in his existence? So instead of proving himself to me he sends people to do it for him even though. Jeremiah 17: 5 says “Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord” The Bible was written by man so even according to the Bible I shouldn’t trust the Bible since it’s man’s word inspired by god which means it’s not gods word it’s man’s word.

A lot of people treat Marriage as a Contract and not as a Covenant. Marriage is a Covenant. A contract can be broken but a covenant can only be broken through death. That is why most say in their marriage vows "Til Death Do Us Part". God wants young people to maintain their virginity because when they get married and come together sexually there is suppose to be "Shedding of Blood" of the woman's hymen that consummates the covenant of marriage. In the Bible, when a covenant was entered into they sacrificed an animal which that blood solidified the covenant. Today, Men and Women have had so many sexual partners that when they get married and come together sexually the consummation of the marriage is somewhat tainted. God doesn't restore your virginity but He will restore your purity. If you are single, like me, it is very important to maintain your celibacy until the Lord sends you your mate. You can't be sexually active and think that the Lord is going to send you a Husband or a Wife.

I agree with everything your saying in this video, however a key fact your also missing is we (all men and women) are constantly counting on the other person for our happiness in our lives and relying on them to make us happy and when the other person fails to meet our happiness we are now disappointed and bail or turn to someone else for it. The flaw with this is we can ONLY find happiness through God who will never fail us and happiness in the person we are. Then and only then meeting someone who is on all same values you are and has their own happiness within theirselves then joining your lives together to enjoy life together but never counting on eachother for eachother's happiness. Why, can we not count each other for happiness because we are all imperfect humans though we are made of His image we are going to constantly fail eachother because despite how much we love eachother how much we are devoted to eachother and values we are still going to fail eachother some how some way and this opens the door for disappointment and failure. Meaning you have already walked into this relationship setting it up for failure because we are imperfect humans. Only God is perfect and only He will never fail us so our happiness comes through Him and finding happiness in who we are a person.

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:4-13, ESV) 👆 This is Love and if we all practice this kind of love it WILL BE ENOUGH

Marcus Rogers, This upload is pure gold. If I had this advice and followed it when I was younger the woman I should have married would still be together. We both blew it and regret it, I would have done a lot of thngs different. I am single and she ended up marrying a guy on the rebound 20 years later after a bad marriage she has just found out he has 3 children by another woman and never had children. It kills me moreso what has happened to her than myself. Any young man or woman listening to this please learn. In my case when things were not going well for me financially and I filled with self doubt I could not take the constant belittleing and berating to the point where I felt crippled and nothing would ever go right with her around me. I loved her but had to cut and run bit by bit alone turned eveythng round but it was all too late. I just could not win with her when she turned on me. If you are a man get your act together and be serious if you are thinking of getting married and if you are a woman and he is doing his best when going through a rough patch don't turn on him.

So many Christians do not understand that the Lord does make it clear in the word what Kingdom marriage is to be like. I love that you are having these messages that desperately need to be heard. My marriage failed, I had no desire to marry again. My husband and I both were with Jesus when we met. But we had nothing outside of the worlds view on relationship. I spent years after this seeking what went wrong. First of all on dating- I believe the Lord made it clear that there is no dating. He knows exactly who he has for you. Wait on Him. Also on love- only loving someone and ALL folks with the love of Jesus will sustain. Human love is fickle and emotional, and often it ends up about you. What you get or don’t get. Thanks for giving me a spot to share. One last thing. Don’t give up on your marriages. Jesus doesn’t give up on us when we commit spiritual adultery on him and fall away in our closeness. Sex is NOT intimacy. Fully sharing your heart and all that you are IS.

Experience and time seem to have a intertwining relationship. As you have more time your odds of having more experiences increase. My thought is what if I'm 30 and lived enough experience as an 80 year old? So time has a better chance of more experience but isnt always the case. Like me, I'm 18 and I thank God I'm saved already.

I disagree with this statement. If a person is willing to walk away over trivial matters, It was never love in the first place. True love comes from God and God is love. So you have to have love which is God's unconditional love to stay in the marriage. Most people don't consult God when it comes to a spouse and that is why we have a high divorce rate in this country.
@dr.vonslifeinvesting64856 жыл бұрын
Niketa Grizzard men love women, women love children. Women do not love men unconditionally. They initiate the end of most relationships/marriages based off their feelings and emotions. 7 years of little affection and sex all on her terms. No thanks, I had a lot to offer but why bother when a woman can just wake up one day and say I don’t love you anymore or I’ll just withhold sex because if he divorced me he’ll be screwed in family court....

Love never fails! In marriage we choose to love our spouse. It’s a decision we make before God!! We choose to love. It’s like when I chose to follow Christ and I chose to love Him through it all! It’s a daily decision to take up my cross and follow Him. That’s love! That’s how marriage should be.

Marriages will have it's trials and tribulations, but to many are prideful and selfish,thinking that they always think they deserve so much better, and come to despise their partner. This attitude always brings destruction and ruin. Instead of trying to always please ourselves always, we need to first please God and work as one with partner to please God and one another. A humble woman is a gift from God, a contemptuous,scornful woman brings only misery and death to those around her.

@@Jambuc829 obviously you have never read.. So why dont you be a real independent human who can think and reason for themselves. Stop watching yt videos to get your history and facts. I could tell you 100things that makes the bible authentic by historical writers and scholars who witnessed and also wrote about the death, resurrection and the prophecied phenomenon worldwide at the very moment of death of Yeshua. Geologist and archeologists can concur as to the historical facts in the bible. The more it is tried proven wrong the more it is proven authentic by some of the best and brightest. Even Darwin and satanist Alistair Crowley believed themselves to of been wrong all along on their death bed. You obviously do not have a mind to think for yourselves and just go with the your buddies. Even the highest and brightest occultic members know the bible is from the Almighty, and that is why they chose to serve the other master,ruler of the earth and hades. So for over 4,000yrs all the great minds were wrong,all the trillions of ppl who believed are wrong,all the billions today are wrong,but you are right??? Not to mention tbe billions of muslims who also believe in a God and wrote the Quran and used the Torah as the bases.Millions upon millions went to grotesquely forms of murder for their beliefs and could if at any time been freed had they renounced their faith! This has only made it florish even more and is now being practiced at the risk of death in a hundred countries! You make no sense, you want to act like this because you think God is for the weak and your such a big man and know it all. Well ALL will vome into judgment bro and you got only this one shot to tell where you are going to spend ALL OF ETERNITY!!! ASK FORGIVNESS AND CALL UPON THE LORD AND BE SAVED AND HAVE ETERNAL PARADISE AWAITING OR DENY AND SUFFER THE TORMENTS OF ETERNAL DARKNESS AND TORTURE BY SATAN AND HIS FALLEN ANGELS. ITS THAT SIMPLE. LIFE OR DEATH. Btw,,you have got some real sexual perversion. Could tell by your videos. The want to live ones life in sin and perversion is easiest when you tell yourself that there are no such things as sins and judgment against the things you practice,because it makes you feel your doing nothing wrong at all. Well Christ said to let the wicked keep doing wicked and those Holy keep doing Holy... But it is never to late to change.

I've always expected the Romance, Passion etc. Yes! I didn't get the attention from my father & I let my guard down with men, as well as the low selfesteem. U right! Now I'm 49 still not married but I'm not lookin. The Word of God states, "He who finds a Wife finds a good Thing" Proverbs 18:22. Indeed facts! I wanted the wedding and being a bride, reality had hit 1 year later. I wanted a divorce because I wasn't ready to change. I had end up having an affair and I was pissed off everyday for no reason. I had to confess to my husband and confess to Jesus Christ for my ways, I had surrendered, confess with my whole heart and repent my sins. I had felt relieved when I had confessed and that's when I prayed for a new heart. I give all my glory to Savior Jesus Christ because I had learned to be a faithful housewife. I had to learned to love my husband for better and worse. I'm blessed for my husband because he had forgiven me♥️♥️♥️ Through Jesus Christ, what's right for your marriage, he can fix it! Prayers, your faith, stay away from temptations and get close to Jesus Christ as close you can... Now, I can say "I truly understand, what is marriage" That's a promise covenant between you, your spouse and Living God. If you read the book of Genesis, it's about Adam and Eve male and female became one union!

Its the wrong type of love that can not keep a marriage. You can not disassociate true love or love that is based on truth from a quality marriage. A man has a vision because loves his wife and children, A man does his best to provides for his family because he loves them , A husband prayers for his family because he loves them. Humble before my wife because I love her, learn the secrets to marriage because I love her, sacrifice you love. Anything less then that its a debt.
