I think the reason for that it likely bc SA is so much more common when it’s a male perpetrator and a female victim, so it rings a little less predatory when the roles are reversed. That said, regardless of whether it was legal or not, it was weird. Not sure what business any 30 something has sleeping with a teenager. Even 19 would have been a stretch, let alone 17. Dude wasn’t even legally an adult yet, so it was def outta pocket. Not saying she deserved that amount of abuse, but she had to realize that there’d be pushback.

Harry wasn't technically a minor. In england, the age of consent is 16. Harry was 17 when they dated, but its still morally wrong and gross in my opinion, whether its a 31 year old man dating a 17 year old girl or whether its a 31 year old woman dating a 17 year old boy. Its about time the age of consent here was increased.

@@CatDadJai I thought it was 18 in the UK? Yeah it should be increased if it's 16. I agree with the commenter above, Eliza, as well. My really heart goes out for Caroline's ending and her family. I wish she had gotten the right professional mental health support to help her navigate her situation better. However as for her dating life, personally I find it surprising and not right that Caroline couldn't see her responsibility to not date a teenager as a 30 yr old woman and that she didn't protect a young person's mental well-being and dignity by wishing them to date someone around their own young age only. That's obviously not right and not how an adult of her age should treat a younger person. That's taking advantage and it's upsetting

​@@debrasnipes7431your correct. The blood stained bed was all Caroline's blood from self inflicted wounds. He had a tiny cut on his head which was treated on scene before he went to his mums. She went ape shit after finding a message from another girl on his phone, no one knows what happened then but her family have confirmed she had past issues with self harming when she was so low so finding those messages must have hit her hard. Such a shame and such a waste of a beautiful talented girl 😢 didn't take her man long to move on did it....
