Very long time since I last heard this, and getting over a dose of the winter lurgy it's just what I needed! I always liked it from the first time I heard it way back in late February 1980,but it sounds even better now than before. This was the song that ACDC had out as a single in the UK when Bon Scott met his extremely premature end.

I think its a crime that reactors ration out their AC/DC exposure. How someone can not binge dive into their catalogue of at least 2 dozen Grade A bangers is beyond me, How do you listen to something that just causes your brain to lurch in such ecstasy and not demand more. These boys were the musical equivalent of a drug.

Where I lived, guys didn't bring girlfriends to AC/DC concerts. Some concerts were good for both sexes, but AC/DC was a 98% male crowd. It just wasn't wise to bring a girl you cared about there because you couldn't ensure her safety. In fact, having her there endangered yours because you'd have to protect and defend her. My hearing never recovered from all my 80's heavy metal concerts.

Never had any trouble with disrespectful guys, never got groped (which did happen when I saw Icehouse and The Angels later in life) the guys at the gigs were always complete gentleman. We were not groupies, never tried to go backstage as we had some idea of what might have gone on, and it was just not our thing. Thank you for playing one of my favorite AC/DC songs. I've been a fan all my life! If you liked that one you should check out Love at Frist Feel, Night Prowler, and Ride On. Highway to Hell was one of their greatest albums. Thanks for the great reaction and great music. Hope you have a Blessed day!

This is my favourite AC/DC song. Highway to Hell was the album which made them famous in countries other than here at home in Australia. "Get it Hot" is another unbelievable good rockin' track from Highway. 1970's AC/DC were young and raw and crazy. Seeing them in pubs in Australia was something you'd never forget. All of us Aussie rockers are very, very proud of them. Sadly, this was Bon's last album. He died about a year after this album came out. But then came Brian and "Back in Black.".......

My senior year of high school... February. I'll never forget that day. I pull into the parking lot by auto shop, and notice a few groups of girls crying. I learned shortly after we'd lost Bon. The whole school knew by lunch.. that day absolutely _sucked._ It was all over FM radio. Bon and AC/DC was everywhere in our high school lives. Cruising on Friday and Saturday nights. House parties. AC/DC was part of most everyone's lives. Then the month after graduation... July. Back in Black hits.... and we couldn't believe it. They were _BACK._ And doing Bon proud. Back in Black was everywhere that summer, and we celebrated Bons memory every chance we got.

Hi Jay and Amber, This little gem is from their 1979 album Highway to Hell, Bon Scott is undoubtedly one of the greatest, if not THE greatest Rock n Roll Frontmen to ever grace a stage!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸 🎸 He was born Ronald Belford Scott on 9th July 1946, in Forfar, Scotland, before emigrating to Freemantle, Australia 🇦🇺 🇦🇺, He sadly passed away on February 19th 1980 aged just 33 🙏🙏 RIP Bon 🙏 🙏

The first time I heard of AC⚡️DC was in 1978. Styx and RamJam (this was around the time Black Betty was a big hit) was having a concert and oh yeah, some nobody band called AC⚡️DC. We get to the concert and they announce that RamJam was unable to perform that night and that AC⚡️DC had agreed to do a double set. Of course everyone was disappointed not to hear RamJam and not excited for the warmup band. I truthfully felt sorry for them because these nobody’s were going to warmup for one of the biggest bands in the world at that time, and there was no way it was going to end well for them. Then they came out and started playing and everyone in that stadium sat there looking slack jawed stupid!!! Bon Scott’s unique voice and Angus Young running around like a madman in a school boy outfit! His head never stopped rocking and he was climbing on the speakers. At one point, he went off stage but we could still hear him playing. Next thing we know, he’s in the audience on someone’s shoulders jamming away. It was insane in there. No one knew any of the songs they were playing because no one had ever heard of them. But by the time their double set was over, I truly felt sorry for Styx having to follow THEM. It was bar none the best concert I’ve ever been too.

In the summer of 78 , we were shoehorning a bigblock 396 Chevy engine into a 71 GREMLIN , Outside in the heat , around 5pm, all hot and sweaty . All of a sudden my cousin slid his 74 Vette in the driveway, T-tops out of the car ,, yelled " Hey Zoro! you want to go see AC/DC? I threw down the wrench, hopped in the Red Vette , while listening to Live Wire", He handed me a brew and he lit a joint then we peeled out leaving 100 feet of rubber. Wow Im 68 now, Still rockin ! , AC/DC, Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Beatles, Steppenwolf, Yes and GRAND FUNK RAILROAD ".. GodBless and ROCK ON !!!!!!!

Great reaction! Before I ran off to medical school I had crazy dreams about being a rockstar, and my band covered this song. Would always blow the roof off of parties. But of course, no one can ever deliver it like the legend, Bon Scott’s AC/DC. May he rest in peace. ROCK ON🤘

Jay I received a message from your boy. He said he heard you saying that he wasn’t even in your top 3 anymore. He asked me if I could tell you that he would like you to reconsider. He said that he put on the most banging performance of a life time at the River Plate. He wants you to see how he took over the show when they amped up “Let There Be Rock” He’s looking to be your number 1 boy again. You won’t be disappointed. Remember he did this just for you at the River Plate Live! Angus wants his #1 spot back!!!

Subscribed just now!!! In 1976, AC/DC albums were just becoming available in my Midwestern town. I had a '65 Bug, with a Craig stereo, Radio Shack amp to boost output, Pioneer speakers. Would pull into HS parking lot broadcasting AC/DC to all. Obviously, I'm an old dude.😉 Your video popped up on my list after I listened to Touch Too Much. Fills my heart with joy to hear you 2 exude your love for AC/DC. I'm looking forward to checking out more of your content. Thank You

I was so fortunate to see them on this last tour of support of this album before Bon died. They opened for UFO who was one of my favorite bands at Massey Hall in Toronto and they blew UFO right off stage, just incredible show. We sat on the first balcony and Angus came through the crowd and up to our row and riffed right in front of us. The most explosive show I had ever been to. My only words at the time was TNT I'm dynamite LOL. On added note this one of my favorite albums of the 70's and my favorite of AC DC's, Bon was a King
