I have large pores and feel like it erases them. It will replace Porefessional for me, I did half face with and without, then half face with Baby Skin and half with Porefessional. My skin looked noticeably better, smoother, almost poreless with the Baby Skin each time.

There is no mystery with this product... it's a silica primer, like dozens of other face primers out there. The irritation some people experience may have to do with the sour and bitter cherry extracts (which also explain the fragrance... when a product says no fragrance added, it means no synthetic fragrance). These extracts usually reduce inflammation, which may also explain the "pore blurring" jibberish. However, these extracts also have an enzymatic effect on skin (exfoliating), which could be an irritant to some. Also, if you are allergic to silicones or cherries, it isn't going to play well with your skin. The cherry ingredients have no earthly reason to be in the product, because the dimethicone/silica is too thick to penetrate the skin barrier and actually deliver any antioxidant or anti-inflammation benefit, but is still able to irritate from surface contact.

Having simply sensitive skin should not be the only variable to whether the product breaks you out. Nicole said that it is a silicon formula so if you experienced a burning sensation or break out heavily you are most likely allergic to silicon and should try to find a different primer that avoids using silicon as a ingredient.

I was waiting for the reviews to start coming out on this product. I bought it about a week ago and used it for a few days. I have combination skin and I didn't care for it. It didn't really seem to do much. Especially for my pores. If you have large pores or visible pores don't expect this to make them disappear like the L'Oreal magic perfecting base that one works way better. Save your money and try that one. +Leanna Shahbazian I tried this primer and it broke me out quite a bit. However, I have been studying the ingredients and I think that if your skin is more likely to absorb the product it will eventually cause you pimples, because of the silicon base in it. So, it pretty much depends on if your skin is more absorbent or less, but if your skin doesn't absorb much product and it is quite dry, this is a good drugstore primer!

You need to start a ECO/Savey/thrifty channell:) There aren't many out there but yes. Also just more natural/organic make up. If your into that of course. After all make up is pumped with so many chemicals that of course are not healthy for our bodies as our skin is the largest organ on the body. I Love this channel and I got some good hair ideas and other ideas I use with natural make up. So....go start one and I will surly tune in!

I love this primer for when I use my revlon color stay foundation , I always have a hard time making that foundation go on smoother and this made applying it so much easier!! And it made it last longer than usual for me and more natural :)

Ariya so what I do is swatch the makeup and leave it on my neck and if it is red or irritated then I KNOW I can't use it or it will break me out. This also saves money so you test a product before you buy it.

My personal opinion.... for beauties on a budget, I think it's great. I have extremely oily/sensitive skin & I like this product. I don't use it as a "Primer", I still use my oil control primer and I just put this only on my larger pore areas and it definitely does make my pores less obvious. So I give it a thumbs up. :)

Got this in Japan! I had the baby lips and saw this and just had to get it. I think i'm a sucker, not for the packaging but for the "baby" products line... i mean who doesn't want to have baby skin?? :P and all the girls in Japan look soooo flawless! Its almost empty now and I've never seen it in NZ yet? (over a year later) le sigh! Oh well. Also I didn't know it was a primer but i've been using it as a primer this whole time , just now I decided to look it up anyway. Just read the back aswell, it DOES say primer (in katakana) hahaha! I'm too lazy to read Japanese a lot of the time, at least I was right!

Omg you need to try the new smash box full exposure eyeshadow palette! The packaging is so cute, I love it! I'm the kind of girl you likes the natural look as well. That smooth feeling is the silicone or dimethicone rather. LOVE that stuff haha silky skin! They put it in a lot of high quality tanning lotions. It feels fabulous.

If you don't have oily eyelids, just use concealer as primer, but always set the concealer with powder or it will crease :)
