I remember how apprehensive my husband was when I told him I was pregnant with our third child, years after we had our two sons. Well, that third child was a healthy, beautiful little girl- the apple of our whole family’s eye! She’s almost 15 now- a lovely blonde beauty who gives us all such joy! And her Daddy and two brothers adore her. She’s my angel.

Few people were/are as fortunate as Duke whom was an orphan purchased by a wealthy couple and encouraged to reach for her potential. Duke's life was good until Big Pharma induced bi-polar behaviors and society exiled her. Though Duke declared her medicines reduced episodes of bi-polar events, Big Pharma drugs caused Duke's premature death. It's a lesson for Americans to take heed.

I adore Patty Duke and Ronny Cox together in this movie. Their relationship is so open and communication is something most couples dont have like they did. They actually listened to each other and worked together as a team. All couples have issues occasionally but the good ones always try to figure out a way to make it work and not just give up. I dont think i would have been capable of starting over with a new baby at age 50. But i also couldnt have just gotten rid of it either. Babies are demanding,time consuming and expensive. But theyre also one of lifes biggest blessings.

Check out @19:46 - Right there. She really wanted to have that baby and he didn't. They reached an impasse. So each individual will have to make a decision. It is nobody's fault. Sometimes life take us down paths where some relationships don't survive - this was one of them. And this happens *all* the time in any kind of relationship. The relationship just come to a point where *parting ways* is just the best option for the parties involved.
@agneshouessou976511 ай бұрын
😢 Whatever happened to wedding vows of "...for better, for worse; ... till death do us part." ??? Sure, we reach a point where we feel "That's it! Enough." But then, more than ever, we need God's strength, the examples of the Christian saints, the Sacraments, the Holy Rosary, etc. "God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing," Scripture assures us. So, it boils down to us: do we love God enough to set ourselves aside for His sake? The Ten Commandments and the Life of Jesus are our guides even in a difficult marriage situation. (They've certainly seen me through a Purgatory of a marriage.😊) 🙏🛐✝️😇🌹💒
@Gethsemane-yg5jm11 ай бұрын
@@agneshouessou9765 Well, first...❤️ Secondly, I believe the truth lies in the Geometry of our bodies. Geometry tells us secrets and knowledge about the *space* we *live* in...including our bodies. Whether it be the regular mathematics or the Sacred Geometry (the shape of things). We have to pray and ask God Jehovah to show us to the truth about it. If we all are born with *our hearts on the LEFT SIDE* - then doing what is right will be a *life time struggle.* Paul alludes to this in the epistles. Romans 7:15-20: 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. God also talks about His Right hand, Right sceptre of the Kingdom, and how He loves *RIGHTeousness* - hardly ever does He talk of His Left Hand. So if we take the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? What side of the tree (right/left) do you think each one(good and evil) sits? Also, there is a play on words...In the word Good we can find God and in the word evil if you add a "d" devil. If we are born with our hearts on the left side "wrong" side we will have a life long proclivity (tendency) to do what is wrong (left). But if we take the life of Jesus who told He overcame the world with all of its temptations - we can definitely use His life as an example - we can always go to Him and ask Him for help. Perhaps this IS one of the reasons Jesus told us that we have to *pick up our cross *daily* and follow Him (His life example.)
@Gethsemane-yg5jm11 ай бұрын
@@agneshouessou9765 I agree with your statement. I made my original statement because I agree with that point of view as well. Sometimes, things are complicated. And people can only *do the best they know how in the current situations they find themselves in.* And you and I know that if they do not know that they can call upon the Lord... well their response might be less than stellar. We see this everyday. Mistakes will be made. *Mistakes are made.* So what is the response that *WE* can give when this happens...? How do *We* respond? The learning is on both sides. The people who make the mistakes and those who see the people making them. At some point all of us would have played *both* sides.

An exceptional movie. Sunny gets pregnant at 50 years of age, and NO, she did NOT cheat on her husband, and even after her husband wants to sail his boat, no matter what, and they separate, she doesn't give in to the old best friend, who had a crush on her then already, who tries to hit on her as soon as she is separated for a few weeks from her husband. And finally, the husband even understands his selfishness in ignoring his newborn daughter (but also revealing his own burdens he had to bear starting at a very young age) and comes back to his wife and daughter. +++++++++++++
