I’ve found the solution to my ex-Narc problem. I pay zero attention to him he’s tried to contact me and I act like he is a stranger because he is. He once told me that he knew what my reaction to every situation before I did. He definitely underestimated me,I won he did not.

Defence line number one. Good on you! You can have meaningful relationships without handing over heart and soul. Always keep the love for yourself above all else. There is plenty where that came from. And when someone starts to ask more than you're prepared to give: get out!
@nyxnightlinger7719 Жыл бұрын
@@DutchJoan Hopefully they do decide to have relationships and not just refusing to go on dates, like a lot of women I met tend to do when they been hurt, or having one night stands like a lot of guys I met tended to do after they been hurt. But even if they plan to have relationships but not give away their whole heart, eventually after years the other person notices that " i feel like I don't really know you" which happened to me
@DutchJoan Жыл бұрын
@@nyxnightlinger7719 There's a difference in having a say over matters of the heart and closing parts off. At least there is for me. Handing over heart and soul means I give total control over my heart to someone else. I did that when I was young, but I don't think that is the right thing to do. Maintaining a healthy portion of self-love means I can still get hurt in the relationship, but I keep a boundary. I won't allow my self to be endlessly hurt.

Some parental narcissists "operate" by a "transactional" (give and you'll get back) future faking by always moving the goal posts via a "systematic" method so that the child becomes "programmed" (conditioned). Some children may fight back, some didn't. A number of times when I turned my back on that Lesser = boom! His fury in "response" (laughing at recalling such moments of my unaware 'power' to ignite without meaning to 🤣). Thank you for the education 💕

It's interesting to me how in childhood someone can be deprived of love and as an adult when they have the love they saught after then it's not enough now, I wonder if the soul being fractured can be retrieved , but then then the trouble is they may not want to feel. I think it is interesting that Narcs and Empaths can have similar upbringing but go down different paths.

HG, how does this apply to a narcissist who shows signs of psychopathy? The psychopath I know told me that he generally prefers being alone (he views most people as stupid or boring) and that he doesn’t attach to people like “normal” people do. His mother died when he was young and he admits to barely mourning her. He says he doesn’t need people. In the past, he told me that he would be too cold for my emotional needs. However, he now has another serious girlfriend, and he wants other sexual relationships on the down-low (I’ve refused). Is he lying about not needing people? Do psychopaths just attach differently-as in not emotionally attaching to others, but merely for fuel?
@narcsitereader3844 Жыл бұрын
Psychopaths don’t require fuel. They are incapable of bonding. People are a distraction from the boredom but they are not required.

But at what point is ignoring not a good tactic and the Narc must be reported to authorities? A tenant making noise, for example. Or allowing their dog to poo & pee everywhere, and bark, and run freely out on the street. Isn't this going to be seen by the Narc as fuel, knowing that they're annoying someone enough for them to make a report?
@SkylarK_x_bk_0 Жыл бұрын
@Sharon, you can refer to your tenancy agreement (if applicable) and refer to the guidance notes, if any. You can read up local authority guidance / advice? Or consider a consult with HG, if need be?

If someone is not behaving the way we want them to behave we call them narcissist😋. Are we keeping our expectations high or are we evil haters who lost the capacity to love and see humans as it is? Seeing only the bad side of humans and naming them narcissists is very cruel to that human. Even Jesus Christ was nailed because evil haters did not see his loving and good side of him.

In need of attention I see.Here is something I came across and thought about you. As long as you try to impress others.You are not convinced of your own strength. As long as you strive to be better than others.You are doubting your own worth. As long as you try to elevate yourself by lowering others.You are questioning your own greatness. Who is at peace with themself, doesn't have to prove anything to others. Who knows about one's own greatness, let's others keep theirs. Who knows one's own worth. Doesn't need validation.
