I will never forget the first time I ever heard. I was in my car and the radio station was R&B, and the disc jockey played one of his early songs. I had to pull the car over and stop and listen to make sure I found out who he was… And the rest of his history I bought everything that he did. I went to two concerts in Atlanta to see him in person thank God! Luther is a gift from God, his voice and his music was so pure and uplifting gone way too soon, but never never to be forgotten❤️❤️❤️❤️💙💙🙏

Lisa highlights this show/performances as maybe the best of them all, she says many things were at it's peak at this time, everyone look to be at ease with life, Luther was and Lisa also. To get Lisa into the show, he had to hire a private plane to take Lisa over from the States in time, Lisa was on tour with the Stones. Luther had hired The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for this occasion and it was going to be recorded and filmed, so he had his "spending trousers" on. We thank him for that. It so rare and exclusive!

Simply the best male vocalist I’ve ever heard in my 60 years of life! And so so respected by the other best vocalists of my time ie Whitney, Beyoncé,Aretha etc etc!.ok I might not have the vocal ears to say Luther was the best male vocalist ever to walk this planet and therefore I might be seem to be biased on a personal sense as Luther is my no 1 male vocalist! But when you have got some of the best vocalists that ever lived having so much respect and admiration for Luther doesn’t that say it all regarding my opinion of him!

luther daviesl hi just like to say ive been a fan of luther long as i can remember. got the chance to go see him a male friend of mine bought me and my x partner tickets as we couldnt afford them but then my x refused to go because my friend had bought them. so i very sadly gave them back to my friend and he ended up going and took my son. so i really missed out seeing luther i was gutted but it really would have caused too much trouble with my x if id have gone. glad you got to see him bet he was awsome....... rip luther vandross

Love this song. Love Luther. But the song is amoral.. tell me would you buy this for your wife/gf. This is a playa song. Example given me is " eagle fly with the dove". Only if dove is in the claws of a peckish eagle. Stephen stills was a sick man but thanks for the tune. Can't understand why this song became so popular.
