Also, maybe a video suggestion for you - i know you aren't personally looking to buy a flat, but maybe you could still do a video about buying in London, exploring options like Shared Ownership and Help to buy? My boyfriend is currently looking to buy and I would've loved such a video to get the basic options explained to me (or even a "what does your budget get you" for buying a flat)!

I just moved in Hamburg for 1100€/month. Not that close to the city centre of Hamburg. Moved about a month ago, didn't even expect to find a new place in 2021 at all. It is not the greatest of all areas in Hamburg, mostly due to it being quite far aways from the city centre... Asked Hamburg born people if that area was okay, which they say it is. And one month here I have no complains (so far). But on an S-Bahn ride I am in 10 or 20 Minutes right in the city centre which is totally fine for me. And even served hourly on a rail replacement bus in the night. I grew up in Cologne, which is by comparision a cheaper area, espacially the suburb I grew up. For my move I set myself a limit of 1000€/month for 60 sqm unfurnished (only kitchen included) ended up with almost 80 qm. a balcony.... But that 1135 is including heating...

Does anyone know some good Towns/places outside London that is affordable and Flats that are decent or above average inside? From US considering moving to England
@loveandlondon3 жыл бұрын
Check popular train lines and the hop on rightmove to see what your money can get you. Remember that "affordable" is relative.

@@loveandlondon In all reality I want to move to England BUT know nothing about Towns or anything. And so I just really don’t know exactly where to move in England. Guess I’ll just have to research places, but I’m excited and eager to see England.
