one more japanese female guitarist that does not get the recognition that she should is rie aka suzaku-she has been around for 10 years and is just one of the best along with the ones you mention-she has many youtube videos and is mainly instrumental but did a few with guest vocalists that are kick ass.check out one called end of the darkness with guest vocalist ibuki and fall in love again.and also messiah with ibuki who is a great singer as well as a knockout.rie is also very beautiful as well as an amazing shredder

Dr. Frenier TomoZo!!! She just not all metal, nor jazz, disco, funk, songwriter... she’s just so versatile and creative, and can tastefully put little one second shredfests into any song. Congratulations dude, you have found (very possibly) the best and heaviest power metal band around. Yes, double lead shredders (Midori and Miyako), and no, those star-shaped things that awesome drummer (Haruna) has are not cymbals, they're just her trademark. Keep listening....

Love me some Power Metal in the morning. Especially when it's executed so well by beautiful ladies! The two lead/rhythm guitar line up is actually more common. Especially in this genre where the two guitarists will take turns playing lead, whether it be in the same song like here, or one will play lead in one song, and the other will play lead in the next (Commonly practiced by Yoshi and Toki of Aldious. Check them out if you get a chance). It's so two guitarists on the same level of ability can share some spotlight. In the case of Lovebites though, one of the guitarists doubles as the band's keyboardist. Great reaction, BTW

Finally, someone who reacts to one of the best of the best out of Japan "Lovebites" these gals been around since 2015 if I am not mistaken, Miyako and Midori interchange lead and rhythm guitars and collaborate very well. I have their entire collection and waiting for their latest album to come out here America "Electric Pentagram". Miyako is the one who writes most of their songs and does a fabulous job. "The Lovebites" first Ep in 2017 and then they release "Awakening from Abyss" in 2017, after that, they released another EP "Battle against Damnation" in 2018, then a full album "Clockwork Immortality" in 2018, In 2019 they release a live album "Daughter of the Dawn", all excellent albums and mini albums. As much as I love Band-Maid I fell harder for Lovebites, they possess the attributes of Power metal, speed metal, heavy metal, hard rock combined into one, apart from being so beautiful their talents surpass many bands of today in my point of view. yeah asami actually moved to the states for 2 years after high school and learned english fairly well-that being said i have heard a couple of songs from awakening on youtube done in japanese and i love it in their natural language-can't seem to find the videos any more though so i think they got taken down

Dr. Frenier the only song in Japanese is Bravehearted from the first Lovebites EP (their demo that got them signed so fast, they released it without re-recording!), written by the drummer, then rewritten in English for “Awakened version” on first full album. They’ve only been playing shows 2.5 yrs, they’re putting out material really fast, as he said, 2EPs, 2DVDs, and already a third album... 🔥

Lovebites just shot to number one on a metal music chart the other day. These gals work really hard. Miyako was in Anaheim playing guitar at the Pesvey booth at the NAMM convention. Really lead and rhythm guitar, but both awesome Lovebites plays their own personal version of 80th power metal, a lot of people compare them with Iron Maiden (no pun intended). And see Haruna on drums. She is a beast, a small woman (she is really have a short stature compared with the others) playing like a beast her huge drum set. The star shaped cymbals decorations comes with her from Destrose, her old band. The bass Miho and the drums Haruna comes from a band called Destrose, a nice band from 2005 (their CD are now very expensive) and fund Lovebites in 2016. They have only 2 studio albums, and a third for this month... tomorrow 29. You have realized that she sings in english? almost all their songs are in this language. The group is produced by Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila, two famous sound engineers and producers from Finland, well know to work with bands like Nightwish or Stratovarius among others. The old band, Destrose was an independent band, considered pioneers of the female metal explosion in Japan but their don´t have a great success. The torch pass to Aldious, another female metal band from 2008 who is still very active (a different style of metal, maybe more "soft"). Lovebites do power metal, with no compromises or excuses. Oh, and one note about "beautiful eyes", a lot of female in Japan uses colored contact. Asami (vocals) have a beautiful brown eyes, but in some clips you can see in other colors like blue. You can find on KZbin some lives performances, and some with the metal band Dragonforce. One of them is really hilarious, when Herman Lee appears on stage with a white dress and heels like "the Lovebites lost member" or both guitars: Miyako and Midori playing country music with Dragonforce. In 2018 when I heard a reactor do this song i checked to see what else and came across the Crusade so i went onto itunes to see what else they had, there was awaakening from Abyss and the EP battle against Damnation, so because I didn't know any other songs I got the EP (cheaper) and it was good but didn't REALLY grab me, so i forgot about them for awhile, then early Dec 2019 I say a Live performance by them on youtube NOW i have everything with Clockwork coming.
