This game definitely has the "feel" of Gladius, but I *really* like the idea of the temporary / shifting tile effects like sandstorms and the arc damage thing, that adds a level of tactical variety and dynamism to the 4X genre that seems really cool... gives me big hopes for something like a "Paul Atreides uses the sandstorm to breach Harkonnen shields and overruns the defensive lines" moment where a brief environmental effect creates a strategic opportunity that otherwise might not have existed to shake up the battlefield

Cool, I just watched Splattercat play for 30 minutes as the 1st leader, I'm glad I got to see the play from another leader. Good luck with the run. I tried to grab a copy of the demo but I failed to find one, so I came to look for more content, and I thank you for that.

I liked the character bio, it reminds me of Walking Dead. I appreciate that it gave us his season 1 background and the season 12 update. He used to be a literature teacher, now he's Negan.

this looks super cool. very much so gladius in terms of art style and map, mechanically as well but thats not a bad thing. will definitely pick this up, especially if they expand upon it like they did with Gladius (maybe not the giant death machine though as that bastard was just annoying 🤣🤣)
