My nomination for your next Blues Traveler song is "But Anyway". Fun fact - the band appeared at the end of the awesomely funny movie "Kingpin", and played this song. I would definitely nominate that film for your movie channel. Woody Harrelson, Bill Murray, and Randy Quaid were the stars.

This is not their debut single. This is off their 4th studio album called Four. This is the song that catapulted their career into being more of a household name. "Runaround" was featured in an episode of the 1990s TV show Roseanne titled "Of Mice and Dan"(1995) Blues Traveler guest starred as Dan Conner's old friends. John Goodman gets a chance to sing while Popper plays the harmonica in the episode. It's worth a watch. Both the song, and that episode, is pure 1990s era nostalgia to me now. So glad to see you both enjoy it. It is absolutely a fun, summertime energy and song.

Somewhere, while I was at WSU, I got see it in a large lecture hall. When the house 🏠 hit (spoiler alert!) And the door opened up to Oz..well, would have loved to have seen the look on my face when the technicolor poured out onto the screen!😮 I was shocked! 20 years old and had never seen anything in color outside a movie theater. This video is the perfect response to the mtv ization of music at this time. The lesson from the wizard of oz that the truth is behind the curtain while what you're seeing on stage is fake. The "perfect" video band with the long haired bopping lead singer is what mtv basically demanded from their video bands. What bands needed to succeed on the channel was a look and a hook and if you have that and nothing else, well maybe they can still make this work. Great great song
