Family Honors Their Beloved Pit Bull In The Best Way Possible | When this woman rescued a starving pit bull, she knew she had to give him a dream life with her big pittie family. They all knew how special Tad was and were devastated when he didn't make it. Today on Pittie Nation, watch how Tad's mom realized there was only one way forward for her and her dogs - and they opened their hearts to another homeless pittie who is 100% pure joy. I was stunned when they said he died. It was obvious that he gained weight, and he looked so healthy and energetic. It goes to show that abuse runs very deep in a body, and his organs were probably damaged. I'm so grateful he knew only love at the end.

Maybe he had some sort of internal trauma, or got some kind of sickness that made him pass away, sometimes you think it's okay, but life surprises you, not in a good way... I rather to think he got to his family to teach them something precipis, and he accomplished that. His mission was done and he finally could have the rest he deserved. It's sad saying these words, but I've learned that every single thing, even the worst one, is there for a reason, to teach you something.

Seventeen years ago, I rescued my dog from the most unimaginable cruelly. The previous owners had used him as an ashtray, broke his back legs and was enjoying starving him to death. My little dog was my whole life, and aged 18, I lost him on 6th December 2017. It's six months ago, and I'm just coming to terms with the loss, but eventually I will adopt a rescue again.

Not my story : “Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.” As they made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told the vet that they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience. The next day, the vet felt the familiar catch in his throat as Belker‘s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that the vet wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. They all sat together for a while after Belker’s Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs’ lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, “I know why.” Startled, they all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned the vet. He had never heard a more comforting explanation. He says that it changed the way he will try and live. “People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do.” 🐾♥️🐾

I was at first so angry for Tad's initial condition, and his backstory. Then I was so sad again at the end, at this passing. But you gave him untold amounts of joy and fun for his time with you, and gave him back his soul. Your other dog family members showed their love with their grief but even more, Tad sent them more love and joy with Minnow. I believe that when animal souls pass, they will stay with us, and sometimes send us another soul (and watch over us) (happened to me with my kittie). So I believe that Tad's soul is jumping, running, communicating, playing with the pack even now. Your time with Tad and all your pitties was meant to be. Bless you in all you do. There are smiles all around looking down on you.

Tad is an amazing dog and this woman is a gift. Who the hell in their right mind takes a dog out of a shelter the makes their life a living hell. can you imagine? Tad, a loving and sweet dog wishing for a forever family to call his own waiting in a shelter. Weeks past and finally someone comes in and adopts him. Tad is so excited to have a home and a family to love him! He gets home only to find that this isn't what he expected. Those types of people (I'm not going to say 'Deserve hell' because no one truly deserves hell), I hope these types of people learn how to truly love something as special as a dog. God bless their souls.

Run free, Tad! Smell the clean air, when you are thirsty, drink from cool, deep pools that have never been befouled by humans. Run on the paths in the woods, beneath the tall trees, paths that have nary a thorn, or roots to hurt your feet! Frolic in the high grass, playing with your new friends. Be at piece, brave boy! For the wonderful lady and her family, who took this poor sprite in when he needed hospice, I hope you know that you gave Tad a gift beyond price, you gave him love, and a home, and a family, and he lived in that warm, comforting glow for all of his days with you. Thank you for that! And thank you for being wise enough to know you needed Minnow to fill the empty space. Be well.

When dogs have such deep feelings and understanding n empathy for us humans they have the same for their own as well... So glad this doggy knew love and care before he passed. Am so happt you brought home another to save , love and cherish. One dog can never replace another... Never... But if there is room in our hearts then there is always room for another abandoned dog or stray languishing in misery often with the clock ticking away - the death knell at the shelters...

God Bless Tad Thankyou to this beautiful woman who went on to give him all the love and happiness that he so desperately needed. It’s so sad that he passed away to soon. As for the cruel poor excuse for people who took him and abused him, this is why the rescues and shelters should be in constant contact with all adopters as soon as they see that someone is failing to send pics of the furbaby or keep in contact that’s when they jump right in to rescue mode. You know something shady is going on.

I've heard of people adopting from shelters and using the rescued dog as bait for other fighter dogs. I have always wondered how well the adopting family or person is screened before adopting. This video is a perfect example of how animals don't always find a loving forever home once they are adopted. I know it's difficult, but I think that pet owners should be screened before and after adoption. Just to be sure that the animal is indeed in good hands. On a good note, thankfully there are good people like this woman who gave this dog a chance at happiness.

My about to be 2 year old American Staffordshire red nose was a preme. I had pick of her and I fell in love ups and downs but she is about to be over 90 lbs and just loves life. I recently adopted a brother of hers as he was not able to be in the household he was in. Hes under weight and had a torn ligament in his back leg . He has gained over five pounds and puts weight on his hurt leg better each day ❤ meds are helping and hes apart of my family. My rescue mutt included there a trio. Have a heart be kind to the ones who can't speak. ♥Pityy love!

It's incredible to know that even after a dog seemingly has healed from the neglect and abuse that their bodies may actually still be vulnerable, to the point of dying. He looked so healthy and I thought this was another story of a sad, abused dog that had been rehabbed and found his furever home. I'm glad that he knew love and joy before he passed. I would have liked to have known how long after they rescued him did he start to decline and pass away, and what specifically caused his death. It's just a mystery. Poor pup....

We gotta love our doggies. They are reflection of who we are; they are looking into a mirror: We are either about love or cruelty . Make the choice.

This is such a heartbreaking video. I can't help but to cry learning that Tad died. Especially after you put in all that (successful) effort to show him acceptance and love. Man!!! Just thinking about that brings tears to my eyes. The flip-side though, is when you got that puppy. That made my heart so "doggone" happy that IT brought tears to my eyes!!!!

I look forward to the day, when I can watch videos like this which are about poor neglected abandoned people or children. Videos about helping, loving and supporting the poor. I only find videos of this kind which are about animals.
