Wild at Heart

22 күн бұрын

In the second half of the series, John and Stasi talk about the deep spiritual ties Wild at Heart has to Iona, Celtic Christianity, and a gospel that is free from the religious spirit. They share about the wild early days of our podcast that's now aired close to 800 weekly episodes. But more than reminiscing about the past, John and Stasi share about the future of this fellowship of the heart-from increasing our global impact to the Wild at Heart fires igniting around the world.

Oh, contrare, my beloved friends! Two parts is NOT enough! How I enjoy hearing the history of this ministry and all the testimonies that you've had! Honestly, I wish you would keep them coming! It's so very encouraging to hear how the Lord navigated you and how you had to make certain decisions based on how the Lord spoke to you during times of grief & loss & bewilderment, "You can have Me or you can have understanding! If you INSIST on understanding you will lose both!" Later you said, "You can have freedom or you can have control; you can't have both." I NEEDED to hear all the above! Geez, here we go again! Every time I'm hanging onto control for dear life, I realize my only choice in intimacy with God is to BET THE FARM ~ again & again & again! 😅 Thank you, John & Stasi for your decades of ministry to me & thank you, Alan & staff for your gifts & support of this precious couple & your gifts & talents in this ministry that also seasons it so much! Glory to God! "How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”" Isaiah 52:7

This was very rich. I appreciate so much the experiences shared in listening for God's voice. John sharing his hearing God to give up alcohol and his obedience in that was moving for me.

I cannot express in words what your ministry has done for my heart/my walk w Jesus. I've only known about you for a couple of years. The abuse (including spiritual) had caused layers/walls in my understanding of Abba. Now I can't seem to get out of studying the OT. It's still hard to trust God but I'm really trying to allow His love in. I will be ok. Everything will be ok.❤

I got my first copy of wild at heart from a second hand store selling japanese surplus items in Manila, philippines after I emigrated there from England. The book was formerly from a chaplaincy in Japan. I knew of the book, wanted a copy, but was on a tight budget so a 2nd hand one for a 70pesos (about a dollar) was providential, God went to great lengths to put it into my hands and it was and is life changing. That was 16yrs ago. Thanks for your work and dedication.

I long to have others that listen for God with me but find it lacking and a lack of interest in it by fellow believers. How do I put myself in the way of connecting with others in this way?
