This song feels like the opposite of a party song. Party songs are about having fun with friends or getting fucked up. This feels more like being lonely at a party you were somehow invited to. I mean, it's literally in the video and lyrics. Party songs usually give you a sense of hyperness and joy while this feel not sad but more calm and....
