One of the best concerts ever: Loverboy, when this album came out, warmed up for Journey, when their Escape album came out. Los Angeles Forum. When Loverboy was done, I was exhausted: they had the entire place pumped up, it was unbelievable. Then when Journey came out, even the band was in disbelief at how pumped the crowd was.

Yeah, this was before the days of American Idol... Where bands had to play every dive and claw their way to the top. But, when they got there, they had all original music with the story and the whole package for sale, and ready to enjoy. I stole the tshirt when I met him in 1988 and I still have it. 2014 I got it signed on my 3rd time seeing them live myself (2009 in Prince George, 2010 at the PNE. and 2014 at the Telkwa BBQ in Smithers where I stayed in the same hotel ! so I can say I slept under the same roof)
