This is funny because all these years I had long straight hair down to my belly button. I thought long hair would make me appear sexy and guys would think I was ugly if I had short hair. I got a boyfriend a few months ago and he told me he prefers short hair, and I was so shocked. I never expected a guy to like short hair. He made me realize that I would be beautiful even if I had no damn hair because your inner light will always shine out of you and you will always look beautiful. I recently cut my hair to my collarbones in a long bob and I love it. I feel so free. I've had long hair my entire life and now I don't and it's so refreshing. And to make things even better, he finds me more attractive with short hair! He thinks bobs are sexy and fun. So fuck what videos like this say, you do you! You are beautiful the way you were created, you're a damn work of art. I'm sick and tired of society telling girls they need to do this and that to be beautiful. THERE'S SO MUCH MORE TO LIFE THAN BEING BEAUTIFUL AND ATTRACTING MALES. Be well-read. Be intelligent. Be passionate. Be loving. Be adventurous, positive, caring. Change people's lives. These things are a million times more important than being attractive. We have plenty of attractive people in this world but we need more good souls. If you are a beautiful soul, you will attract someone who loves you no matter what you look like. If a man only loves you for the way you look, that's not love. Fuck superficiality.

It's like we have to be super models or something just so they can be slobs and play video games
@Keqingsimp90573 жыл бұрын
@@kittyqueen3032 okay I'm a 22 year old boy and don't ask why I even watched this video because even I don't know that. But still... Maybe I belong to the minority of men with my opinion, but I tell you what's my opinion about those things: Above of all things, you will never look perfect to every man! That's not really possible since even men have different tastes. And you don't have to be a super model either. It's not worth it to keep yourself strictly to those 5 points this guy mentioned. About the clothes: There are quite a lot people who would actually prefer dark colors instead of red but okay.... About the teeth: For many people it's not even really possible to have "white" teeth and bleaching your teeth is really not worth it. Some people just have more yellowish teeth by nature and there's nothing wrong with that About the lipstick: That point is kinda difficult. Some men love it but I would say just the same amount of men think that lipgloss and other things like that make you look from unnormal to even creepy and beause of that that they dislike it. So...if you're looking just for a date with anyone...try those tips this guy just told you. But if you're looking for a relationship with the right person for you...you should have a personality. About your opinion you would have to be a super model just that the man could be a slob and play video games....hey have you ever considered that it could work too if you're also a fan of playing video games? It's also kinda cliché how many gys don't have a girlfriend let alone a wife and play video games. But I think you'd be surprised how many guys would actually enjoy it to play videog games with a girl. But that's just my opinion^^ And not every guy is just lazy. Yeah you might not believe it but even men have a personality. Anyway... Your personality doesn't have to be perfect since no human is perfect. Just be yourself. I mean....men aren't that stupid. I think a guy who doesn't act like a monkey and who's more intelligent than a stone would notice if you felt uncomfortable with the way you act in front of him. And you don't even want those men who behave like i mentioned right now so you don't have to care about whether you're looking attractive to them or not.^^

I'm just going to make this video really short for you. Men are attracted to breasts because it signifies both sexual maturity and the ability to breast feed. Same way we are attracted to curved hips because it shows the ability to give birth without dying. Almost all attractive traits are biological indicators that work on our subconscious and demonstrate good genes/capabilities etc. Another example, women are generally attracted to tall, muscular males because it signifies the ability to protect. Everything comes down to reproduction and survival. Attraction is shallow, simple as that.?

In all honesty, these studies don't sound like they are referring to all woman... Even though I'm not black, I'm still gonna argue this because black woman don't have long straight hair and apparently, "according to studies" this is what men find attractive, so to say that other hair is not much of an acception...Nah this is a bunch of bull cause it sounds like they are discribing the perfect white girl which isn't fair amongst other woman. But like Chong Sun said, "if you want to attract average men then go ahead but if you want a unique guy then be you"🙌🏽

Love yourself, the men will follow. Remember to be critical ladies, especially when someone claims "scientific studies show.." For example, it's not necessarily the teeth being whiter that changed the guys perspective. It could be that as a result of whiting her teeth, the woman felt more beautiful and thus exuded more confidence and playfulness hence changing the survey results. Stay critical.

But attitude and the way you show your confidence, that's the only thing that matters. Because obvioulsy, THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO if you're not that guy's type (in the physical part). It's not science. Trust me, this crap is not science. What he is using is a survey. Not science. Surveys are small groups of people asked a bunch of questions and they conclude what it all means. Science is far more then just that. Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. No matter what you're beautiful in the real eyes of science. Science only states that you are a human and you may or may not be attracted to another human and may go on to make other humans. That's it. Human to human. Nothing having to do with anything else. Now if you want to go more in depth, you have to study anthropology or sociology, otherwise science is very simple. You human, you like other human, you go to human and might make other humans.

+teenwitchlovergirl umm I said I agree with what he said but you guys make it look like I was attacking the guy. But thanks for the info :)
@teenwitchlovergirl8 жыл бұрын
Estherjp Jp I know you weren't attacking him. It's just as a woman that works in the science field (Might be small but I am happy) and as a child of a scientist, to hear people claim that physiology is hard science or an exact science or even use surveys as science makes me cringe. It's a soft science and doesn't have that much value compared to hard science which has to go through a much more rigorous study and it has to happen over a time frame of years and years. So I wouldn't ever worry too much of what this man says. What he is talking about is what some men believe within western society, which is not that important to the rest of the world. I would always say this. Screw what others think about you, you will other find another human to love or you wont. It's nothing to really concern yourself with too much.

Some of this sounds eurocentric or based around Caucasian ideals. Us black women must be doomed then with our afro type hair that grows round and curly. And as for red lipstick, it doesn't always suit our skin tones! Ask a man who loves black women what he would find most attractive and it it WOULD fit this. As for the Zeus study, please tell me who the cohort Included? I bet there were no black men involved.

This is it... I commented before seeing this comment. The study is racially biased, and contradicts his statement in his intro, he makes ally of bold statements and to be quite frank this video is probably mainly what he himself finds attractive, he definitely cannot speak for every man. Red lipstick doesn't suit every woman and that don't matter what colour your skin shade is! Very rarely will you see a black woman with long straight hair! Confidence and you being you will attract the man for you! And vice versa... There's no rule book to dating and relationships...
@MsAyoFashola8 жыл бұрын
ladies, you don't need validation about what is attractive from a white man. Europeans have different value systems than Africans. Ask African/Black men what they find attractive and go from there. Also...attraction is energetic, it's not entirely physical. Self love...confidence, sensuality, femininity is attractive. African women are not doomed unless a white man's opinion is more valued than a black man's.

I feel like most people didn't even listen to any statistics he even said.. down and straight was ranked #1 with 38% and curly was ranked #2 with 33%.. not that huge of a difference really

red lipstick CAN work for dark skin... even really dark skin. You just gotta find the right shade. There are tons of make up tutorials here on YT about how to find the right lipstic for your dark skin. I got dark skin and i found a classic red lipstick that looks absolutely glorious for my skin tone, and its not just me that thinks that,I get compliments for it too. I have a friend from Kenya and she has really dark skin, and she is a fan of the red lip too, she just found the shade the works with her skin and It looks amazing. Of course the same lipstick my african friends would use may not look good on me, and my lipstick may not look good on her or my white friends, my friend can even pull of a yellow lipstick and look beautifull while I just look like a freaking pikachu. Everyone can wear the classic red lip, you just gotta find the right one for you

interesting study. I remember I saw once on the Tyra Banks Show that candle light can instantly make anyone more attractive. so just carry a candle with you everywhere you go, easy as that. haha. I think I might be an exception to the long hair thing. I've had long hair my whole life and I recently cut it to my shoulders and I've never in my life gotten more compliments on it.

Long hair is preferred but you can't overdo it and have that dirty hippy overly long hair that's got blunt ends with no style. It still has to look nice like thoughtfulness and effort was put in.

#1 can go for guys too. Idk why but I love guys who have nice teeth. It's always a plus and so does smelling good. But like it when it's a hint where I can't tell unless we hug or he walks right past me. And 34% isn't too far off from 38% so ima keep growing out my curls. Straightening is too damaging. Thanks for the red lip tip!

I have extremely curly hair, and I really don't want to straighten it. I wear red ALL OF THE TIME I have been told that red is my signature colour, and that red looks best with my skin, eye colour and hair colour.I have medium olive-toned skin and red is a very common colour for me. I have a red winter coat, red shoes and a lot of red shirts. But that's just me, and I don't want to change who I am, especially for some guy. I would rather have a guy except for who I am, or not al all. And that should do for everyone, no one should have to change who they are or what they look for like for anyone or anything. You were born the way you are and were not meant to be changed. So, don't. Don't mess with Mother Nature, it will come back to kick you in the butt later. Believe me. And to add to my pile of red things, my glasses frames are red.

This is a good vid. It's honest. There's criticism of the tips in a lot of the comments. Whether everyone wants to admit it or not, men are attracted to the physical first. Yes confident and great personality is key but he has to be physically attracted to you to talk to you. These were some good tips outside of the "it's all about confidence" cliche that our friends tell us. While I know I can't do/won't do the straight hair tip (I'm Black with tight coiled hair) I can do the other things like scent, incorporating red articles of clothing in my attire. Whiter teeth, that's a biological attraction. Teeth, smile, oral hygiene is VERY important for me so I can't expect it not to be for someone else.
@MegaLadylove20128 жыл бұрын
Why do some black women become overly sensitive about their hair? Why is that. This man mentioned more than four other attractive traits men like in a woman, yet all the majority of black women commentaries can focus on is the part about hair? Enough said. Yall over sensitivity can be a turn off to most men. So who cares if you have coils hair? Own it or straighten the hair out, damn it than let the rest of us hear something else other than the hair topic. Besides, one should know having standards, a great personality, or boundaries is more attractive to any man than whether you have silky, smooth hair texture. Take care of you and call it a day. Gees.

I appreciate the jovial, upbeat way you are presenting your information. I'm wondering though, are these BIOLOGICAL preferences or SOCIALIZED preferences? Straight hair, Rosey cheeks... Hmmm biologically that would make all men attracted to only ONE type of woman.

This video makes me feel really sick inside...the message this sends to girls and to young women like me is really to hyperanalyze your appearance and "work on improving such" just to attract men...this is sexism in our society...imagine raising boys by training them from a young age to be overly concerned about looking good and fit and perfect for girls. This school of thought being portrayed in this video is really misogynistic, someone had to say something.

As a Boy I can confirm these are true except the Hair one. Short hair can also be very attractive. Personality is also very important even after all this. Be an open girl who is genuinly interested in boys.Try to approach attractive boys because boys are approached extremely rarely and by just approaching them or by giving them a hint that you like them,you are going to set yourself apart from 95% of girls.Most girls just wait around thinking they are queen and deserved to be approached by all boys. Do not be that girl. Good luck on your journey of being attractive.

Why on earth is this in my recommendations?? I don't care if some basic dude thinks I'm not appealing because I don't wear perfume but I still don't smell. Why would I go out do and buy things for some guy that I am not even dating. If I do something I will be doing it for me or my significant other or because I want to, not to be more appealing to someone who I am not emotionally attracted.
