I have a PSA for pasta people. If you're looking for some _serious_ sauce-retention, get yourselves some girelle (ska vesuvio or trottole) pasta. It's like cavatappi? Buccatini? I don't know her. Honorable mention to cascatelli, which _was invented in 2021_ ! When I'm feeling down on humanity, it genuinely helps me to remember that people are still out there making new pasta shapes for us

I love vesuvio, as I live nearby to a lake that shares the same name as the volcano, but did not like cascatelli. It reminds me of little squid arms, and the sauce trough and little arms hold sauce so well, but leave it at the corners of your mouth or in your beard and mustache very easily.

Should be a required course for us cisgender straight white male boomers who want to be able to communicate in our final years across generation gaps in the modern world. I hate cod and play Halo... I prefer to shoot at aliens and robots than people... yeah, the chat is full of garbage most games.
