About Today's Guest: Ruth Bell Graham
Ruth Bell Graham was a Christian author and the wife of the Rev. Billy Graham. Ruth’s significant role in her husband's world-wide ministry was recognized in 1996 when she and Billy were jointly awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for their evangelism efforts. She is the author of 14 books, including "Prodigals and Those Who Love Them," "Sitting by My Laughing Fire" and "One Wintry Night." She founded the “Ruth and Billy Graham Children's Health Center” in Asheville, North Carolina in 1966, and remained active in that ministry until her death. Ruth entered Heaven knowing that she and Billy raised their five children and many grandchildren to know the Lord.

Ruth & Billy were such wise parents I love what Ruth said that they would never have sacrificed their children for the sake of Billy's ministry I have known quite a few Ministers to use their children this way portraying them as "perfect Children" which really messed them up!

It's worse for the PK's who exoect their kids to be perfect so as not to reflect badly on the pastor. Unrealistic and unfair.

I have 3 children. Two are high functioning Autistic. My middle child is neurotypical and my prodigal child. I'm on my knees. Oh my heart. 💔 I feel it's my fault. I turned my back on God over 25 years ago and back to him last January. It is... my fault. I abandoned our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Raised my babies in a faithless home and now I'm on the "back peddle" trying, praying to collect my babies and do right by them now. My husband is coming along and my oldest. So much guilt. But I do mostly put it in the hands of God. To trust him. His mercy and grace. Please pray for my family. In Jesus name, Amen 🙏 🇨🇦 ❤️ ✝️🕊️
