You did an excellent job, Megan! I love how you always involve your girls in the decorating and what goes in their rooms. I grew up in an abusive home and had absolutely no control over my environment. I think giving some control over it gives kids a greater sense of safety and comfort, and helps them develop as individuals. You do a really awesome job with your girls. I absolutely love decorating my living room! I also don’t make it to scary more cute/cozy vibes just because my 5, 4 and 3 year olds don’t really like scary decorations just yet! I absolutely love your decorations! It’s exactly my style too! I also have the ghost and cat pillows from Walmart! I also got the pumpkin one too and the witch pillow and I’ll put a spell on you pillow as well! Super cute simple pillows!

I love everything you did, it looks so good! My whole family’s favorite area to decorate for Halloween is our living room because that is where we set up our Department 56 Halloween village. We have been collecting since I was a kid and have had to expand the village to multiple surfaces. As for the side table by the door, maybe a little bowl or cauldron for candy/keys would be cute. Or even something that lights up!
