I actually really love the small art. I would personally add a couple family photos around it or even some landscapes in those gold hearth and hand frames (the ones they have currently at target) and create a gallery wall moment rather than one large piece so you can change it up as you feel you need a change! Love the refresh!

I would suggest rectangular mirrors behind the side tables to hide the electrical box. Then put some time of art work above the head board. Perhaps some abstract shapes in the color scheme you want.

hang the art with a offset towards your bed table and then get a small art behind your lamp which is partly covered behind your bed table lamp, like 30-35 prosent of the new small art behind the lamp. think that would make it all come together pretty nice, with the art you already have above your bed, but put it offset above like the mid off your side of the bed. and maybe a big green plant beside your bedtable infront of the energy outlet which kindof stretched the room up

Everything looks great! I think with the larger lamps on your side tables, I would look for a nice piece of art for above the bed. The electric box cover isn’t really noticeable unless you’re standing right in front of it. I love the checked rug. I really like that type of pattern on rugs and towels. It’s hard to believe that your water issue happened in 2022! Side note- I tried the Belway fiber supplement that you mentioned in an earlier video, and, wow! I feel so much better. I’ve had many issues with my stomach, especially acid reflux, and this has really helped calm that down. Thanks for mentioning it.

My suggestion for art is to buy what you love, what speaks to you, what you find beautiful. There are several artists in my family (I’m not one) and I enjoy displaying their very disparate pieces. Remember how you felt about the prints you hung in your living room? That feeling is the purpose of art. I think that frames and mats change with the times, but not real art. Hang up whatever you like, not what is trendy. I have found lovely art at thrift shops. If you hang a vertical piece over the electric box, the lovely horizontal picture either over your bedside table or somewhere else in your room. Maybe frame some of your daughters’ art? I have a picture my granddaughter painted when she was 3 framed in a high end contemporary frame that I got at a garage sale, and it’s gorgeous! One other thought to add some interest is adding some pattern in your room. I know not everyone likes pattern, but it adds so much to a room. Maybe a gray toned damask, or arabesque fabric on your lamp shades, or a pillow? Covering a lamp shade is not hard and there are many tutorials on KZbin. And Megan, everything you do just amazes me. Your house is lovely, neat and clean, and a cozy nest for your family. Your girls are probably very proud of their home.

I have a couple of suggestions…maybe a long shelf and you can put candles on it with hanging ivy…or put two shelves each at different heights plus you can still put the mirrors near the lamps and it wouldn’t interfere with each design…love the bedroom…but maybe some candles on some shelves would make it more cozy…looking forward to what you decide after receiving everyone’s comments…love you channel.

Hey I think the art is perfect, that way you can still afford to have either 2 pieces of art either side or maybe 2 mirrors (possibly colour mirrors so it doesn't reflect the T.V?) I'm sorry I can't post any links as I'm in the UK and doubt you'll want to pay the P&P on that! Hope this helps, everything else is beautiful ❤

Is there anyway you can centre the bed on that wall? It would be nice to see some space beside your husbands night table and the wall

We can’t center it on that wall because the wall is so large, and we still need to have a comfortable walkway to the bathroom

I think artwork over nightstands would be very nice and your last name letter over your bed. letter needs to be medium in size.

Definitely mirrors above the nightstands and the picture is beautiful but too small, you need something similar but twice the size.

I think so too, but then I worry that it will just mirror the look of the tv on the other side

I would go with a larger rectangular picture above the headboard as the one there now is a little too small imo. Love your room makeover though 🤍
