Low Budget Ditch Light Install - 3rd Gen 4Runner Part 2

Ditch lights majorly increase the frontal field of view while driving and offroading at night. I have also used them as camp lights as the wild is quite dark. This is a complete guide on installing one of the lowest costing ditch light systems possible. Everything used is universal, but this install was done on a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. Agreed! I have seen some mounts that bolt on with the hood, but I feel like those can become difficult to work with.

Dang, I really needed to know where to push the cable inside the cab. I see a grommet, but it's a tight fit and i can't seem to get the connector through.

Yeah, it is certainly not easy, I ended up poking a knife through it very carefully closer to the outer edge and made a slit. It's risky but I think worth it.

@@mattuccibuilt3970 were you able to get the white connector through the firewall, or did you have to pull the wires out of there then reassemble after you got them through?

@@eljefeslash I depinned the connector and only ran the wires through. Then repinned the connector!

The antenna goes up and down when you turn the truck on and off I had the same question for a few weeks before I noticed
