@@jQu3ma you will love the help she gives. I’m in year 6 of using AFs and she has great starting out themes..then you start tweaking and great fun.. I am is it doesn’t work as well as you would help as far as taste. But you learn. And if you have a dog or a cat, you just might get over the mistake with the leftovers without having to feed the trash..😎

I've had my air fryer for over a year now, and found your channel a great source of inspiration. The recipes all look straightforward and very tasty. If I might be allowed a small criticism, though, I probably wouldn't recommend sweet potatoes to a diabetic individual who is still healthy enough not to require insulin medication. Sweet potatoes, not unlike steel cut oats, are marginally better than instant oats or Maris Pipers, but still would send my blood sugar levels through the roof.

I am keto/low carb but have been watching your channel for a while even though most of what you make is too high in carbs for me. I love your energy and ideas. Thank you for including some lower carb options for those of us who love our air fryers. Especially in the summer when it 40 degrees out there. That's 110 for those of you in the states.

Bless your heart with Monk Fruit. I got it for just my. coffee..Costco convinced me it tasted GREAT! after 4 tries I realized it tasted disgusting AND I wasted 4 cups of coffee that I tried to choke down..slight guilt..but not too much. But that is a sin..so back to my other sweetner…I’m 74.8 now so I will pass two years sooner..however, I will go down with the ship having had better tasting coffee and anything else that had monk fruit in it…now for all of you that love it..yay! You can have all of mine…peace 💙Harris Walz

As a T2 diabetic taking no meds, I eat no sugar and try to keep my carbs under 20 per day. I was excited when I saw the title of this video because I'm always looking for new recipes. But some of the ingredients you use here are definitely not Keto nor low carb. Sweet potatoes and beans are a hard no. And the same goes for mango. Just curious if you put the macros for each recipe in the e-book? FYI, if you are looking for a non-erythritol sweetener, Bocha Sweet is a great choice and 1 to 1 ratio with sugar.

See, you use some Costco Kirkland stuff. Yes..good cream cheese. So you have other store choices in your area… I just very much matters that you put into things. But when you use seasonings that are not that great and cheaply made unfortunately sometimes you’re not getting taste as good as you think it will taste. That’s called cooking for a long time and we love you …

My blood drawing every six months keeps showing me between the very border of pre-diabetes and not (my dad has one type of diabetes, and my brother has the other), so I'll definitely try some of these, especially the cake! You do still have to be careful of sweet potatoes and mangos on a low carb diet as both are high in carbs. People often think diabetes is down to eating too many sugary foods but unfortunately it is about pasta, potatoes, bread, rice, anything made with flour such as pastries, as well as the sugary stuff and citrus fruits, grapes, pineapples, bananas and dried fruits. It is a nightmare. If I was a rabbit I would be fine!
@rosepaul96813 ай бұрын
Instead of sweet potato, how about butternut squash?

You are still using low-end Walmart canned beans,,,maybe up the bean quality for $.25 more and you will have even better flavor. Truly…never buy yiyr canned fruit and veggies where you buy your toilet paper. lol.

First lets clear this whole "low carb" thing... up.. If you're cosuming more than 20 carbs per day,,,, then you ARE TECHINICALLY NOT LOW CARB.. Second.. Yup.. that's right... Below 20 grams of carbs per day!
@empoweredcooks4 ай бұрын
For some, eating fewer carbs is a gradual process. My understanding is that if you are wanting to eat the "keto diet" way, then you are less than 20g carbs per day. Regardless, having a meal that is lower carb (even if you are exceeding 20 per day), there are still benefits with helping your blood sugar not spike up crazy high. :)
@kelliannea49094 ай бұрын
You are right, Kathy! He’s talking about Keto. Standard low carb is less than 130 gms per day. These recipes are great!
@karynstouffer35624 ай бұрын
That's for full-on keto. Low carb is considered anything below 130 g per day, which is recommended for diabetics and insulin resistance. I try to keep mine below 100 g per day.
