Not the best we can eat, but the best that is available. Since a lot of Farmed animals are fed on Grain, or if Grass fed brought up on Magnesium/Copper/Boron depleted soil, that transfers to their flesh as well. So non-diseased Wild animals (Wild Fish included) 'may' be the best(which is what the Human race actually survived and thrived on for eons).

Soil Mineralisation: I don't recall whose video it was but I remember a video in which it was claimed that 2 separate & independent scientists had travelled the world testing soil and found that there was an absolute abundance of minerals in virtually ALL soils tested but the problem was the widespread use of Fungicides wiping out the Fungi which are necessary to break the minerals down into Bioavailable form which the plants could readily take up and utilise !
@scoobtoober2975
@scoobtoober2975 7 ай бұрын
Thanks for highlighting this. Dr Nathan Bryan researched plant nitrate content and found that wildly varies. He suggests folks use commercial fertilizer to ensure you have adequate nitrogen in the soil for the plant to uptake. Very interesting on the fungicides. Dr Bryan also points out fluoride is an anti-bacterial and kills your microbiome inhibiting the break down of nitrates into nitric oxide.

My mother also claims that she wasn't diagnosed with gestational diabetes with my brother, but I clearly remember her being overweight by about +20kg. If you only test fasting glucose, you can get false negative results, and I think this is our case. New info: even OGTT can have up to 15-21% false negatives...

I take my statins when I fly and have the flu or covid for their anti clotting effects - because viruses raise your risk of clots and so does flying. but I don't take them all the time. I have zero CAC score, no inflammation and no neck artery atherescleoris that can be seen however my LDL is slightly high. So my doctor keeps prescribing them and I get them but I don't use them all the time. - re vegan diets they do suit some people and yes I think our gut bacteria is to do with that, but not everyone does well. I'm one of those people who don't do well on a vegan diet, extremely fatigued. I do a lot better on high animal diet - but also enjoy legumes, veggies, nuts etc - I do not apparently absorb non haem iron very well, but I need more choline than others I think. I did a DNA test and I have more need choline - something to do with methylation but I didn't understand it, I just know I feel great eating a lot of eggs, dairy, meat, chicken etc. I also was at my best on a lower carb diet (not fat). I have no political affiliation with any diet, have tried all diets and this high animal omnivorous diet is best for me. I was fattest and tiredest, on a vegan diet, needed so many iron treatments my haematologist told me to stop. I was slimmest when when low carb, four dress sizes smaller than when on a vegan diet, and I have more energetic now than ever. But I love plants as well. I have vegan friends who do really well and don't get anemic. Important to eat how you feel great not how the influencers tell you to eat. I'm very high protein 150g a day (over 60 grandma who lifts). K2 is in fermented cheeses like gouda.

I agree, I tried vegan and it was horrible. I tried carnivore and can’t sustain it. I consume meats, poultry, eggs veggies and dairy keeping my carbs to 20 grams per day and I’m thriving

Fascinating. So, as a person shifts from mainly running on carbs for energy to using mainly fats and ketones, there will be a transition period wherein ketone production rises, but the body can't yet use all of them for energy and so passes the excess ketones out in urine. As this is happening, the uric acid level in the blood temporarily increases because excess ketones displace uric acid for excretion in the kidneys. As the body becomes more fat-adapted, ketones are utilized more efficiently and completely for energy. Thus, ketones are no longer excreted in the urine. And so, too, uric acid levels return to baseline as it can then be excreted normally without competition from ketones in the kidneys.

this is why pee sticks for ketones are a complete waste of money 👆 during transition period to fat adaptation, one will most likely get the "keto breath" i.e. taste the metallic/salty taste of ketones under the tongue because they also get excreted via saliva. It won't last, but it's a free sign 🙃 The taste may also come during longer fasting periods (24hr+), for keto or non keto diets.

I think he said it takes 3-4 months for this to start to take place. Is there a test that could show this. I was interested because I life weights and only occasionally run and I feel like my body has not switched completely over yet.

It's a "deficiency" only by "theoretical recommended levels" which are based on people having the standard american diet... Do you have any symptoms? There are quite a few videos out there, I recommend you look out for Harry Serpanos folate videos on youtube (he has a few) to understand the details of biomechanisms and pathways behind folate (i.e. methylation, and how choline and/or riboflavin plays a role), and how genetics may also play a role (re: MTHFR).

An inlaw just had a massive heart attack. He tobacco chews. Dr's say stop that and you'll be ok. He's getting 4 stints today. Open heart surgery. Would you blame tobacco, or other things. I bet he drinks soda and eats seed oils. What's your top things to eliminate first? Oh and he's only 35 years old.
@Petunia-fl9lu
@Petunia-fl9lu 6 ай бұрын
he should have a CAC score done to see his result. If he's getting 4 stents, that means he has four blockages. I'd love to know what his CAC score is, it should be in the high 6-800s. from Harvard: Because CAD is the most important cause of early heart attacks, it deserves the most attention. But the other causes should also be considered. In broad numbers, about 4% of heart attacks in young adults are triggered by inborn abnormalities of the coronary artery anatomy. Five percent can be attributed to blood clots that originate elsewhere and are carried in the bloodstream to otherwise normal coronary arteries, where they block the artery. And in another 5%, various disorders of the blood clotting system increase the risk of clot formation throughout the circulatory system, including in coronary arteries. A wide range of problems account for the remaining 6% of heart attacks in young adults. They include spasm or inflammation of the coronary arteries, radiation therapy for chest tumors, chest trauma, and abuse of cocaine, amphetamines, or other drugs.

I have heard that most everyday 7th day Adventists are not vegan. (from Christian TV) If they follow the the Bible, God told the people to eat meat, and greens. Not wheat. I also heard that originally they were also to eat meat at least once a month. If they still practice this then they are just a little bit vegan. 😊😊

If you break your body, like me, i'm 40. you may or may not be able to get keto adapted and feel good. Maybe just decent, ok or poor.. Just ask Tim Nokes. Blood sugar regulation may suffer for a while. Fasting glucose may take a year to come down. I feel like it's additive. To cut down the carbs and other bad things. Seed oils and sugar. Get into ketosis and stay there. It may take days to show ketones more than 0.2 mmol. At least for me. This is my experience. You will feel like garbage the first couple of times if you were pre-diabetic. or diabetic. Ask a keto friendly doctor. They are hard to find. Eat tons of leafy greens, no flouride, no olive oil, or any oil. Eat less protein at first too. That can keep insulin high and ketones low.
