Great video. How big is your pot used in this video?

I can't even imagine what would be the taste when mixing shrimps with sausages. I'm from Croatia and we only ever cook shrimps (from Adriatic sea) with olive oil and a bit of garlic, that's all. IMHO shrimp taste is good on its own and I have a feeling adding sausages would spoil that. OK, now thinking of "škampi" (from Italian scampi) made me hungry (and it's 2AM here). Thank you for another great video Adam.

My uncle raised and sold crawfish when I was a kid. He would have a crawfish boil for the family a few times a year. He had a 35 gallon pot he cooked in lol. He made it one way... hot as fire. But it was always so good. You either ate it hot or didnt come 🤣🤣

Do you have a in depth video on how long cook times are? Also where to get a nice pot like yours
@AbomAdventures5 жыл бұрын
Yes some of my past videos I do go more in depth. Most of them are on my Abom79 channel. Just go there and do a search and you'll find them. The pot and burner is from Cajun Rocket Pot.

July 4th 2020 After watching every Low Country Boil video Adam has made for the 3rd or 4th time, I made his recipe. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone that wants to try this dish, you will have to watch all of them as Adam doesn't really give the times to cook (but in one video and you have to turn up the volume) and the recipe changes a little over the four years across the different videos. Amazon has all of the spices, oil's and powders if you cannot source local. Thanks Adam!!!

What kind & where did you buy your outdoor cooker/burner?? I hate the fact the 1 i got has a damn timer on it.... i love yours, small size & sounds like alot of btu...
@AbomAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Mine was built and sold by Cajun Rocket Pot. The burner is built to provide the proper BTU needed to quickly heat up the pot. The pot itself has aluminum dowels spot welded to the bottom to help absorb all that heat making it more efficient.

Cancer treatment has left my mouth extra sensitive to spicy food, how much of the boil and liquid should I use to be able to enjoy this?
@AbomAdventures3 жыл бұрын
I would use the recommended amount that's listed on the package, it's much less than what I use. You can also use just the liquid boil to give it flavor and save on the spice.

We can't find that sausage in North Carolina, but our vacation spot in Tennessee has it. We look forward to getting some everytime we go. Mixed in with beans or just grilled on an open fire at the campground, the best sausage.

The ice stops the shrimp and crab from overcooking while allowing them to “soak” in the flavor of the seasonings.
