I was constantly sad and depressed (grew up w/a very abusive father) before I discovered Paleo Diet back in 2002. Once I ditched the carbs and started eating more meat and fat, I started to feel calm for the first time in my life. I noticed I felt better without vegetation, and also with bone broth. But boy, did everyone think I was crazy back then when I told them no wheat, corn, rice, beans, or cooked dairy and to eat fruit very sparingly (because I was a carb addict). It also ensured that I survived breaking my neck and jaw. I wouldn’t have lived another 22 years if I’d still been on the SAD-and I wasn’t even a junk food eater-I used to bake all of our bread, made pizza dough, and made nearly everything from scratch everyday. It still didn’t matter.

I've recently come across your channel. You're doing a great job!!! I've been on high fat carnivore since February, I'm never hungry between meals, healed from lots of inflammation and lost 30lbs. Carbs and fibre got me addicted and wrecked my guts and joints. I'm enjoying the healing now❤.

Yes, I believe that seed oils are the worst ingredients that we humans consume.

The downfall is mass imigration. But yes, eating less fatty meat is bad as well :)

Thanks for explaining the importance of not eating foods that trigger Insulin. Insulin blocks the leptin satiety signal. Dietary fat does not trigger insulin like carbs do. For someone like me, that toast/ cereal/ muffin breakfast led to hypoglycemia 2 hours later, at which point I was searching for juice or anything sweet to resolve it. Horrible that it took me decades to figure out. My German in-laws thought it strange that I didn't eat meat with breakfast as they did (they had all sorts of pre-cooked meat and cheese/ charcuterie every morning). They were right and I wish I'd taken heed much sooner. Keeping insulin low is a major key to health.

The problem is that western countries eat a very high carb and relatively high fat diet (because seed oils are in everything nowadays). Because of the Randle cycle, people should choose between high carb and high fat instead of intaking both at the same time in high amounts. Very few natural foods are rich in both carbs and fats. Asian countries for example have always eaten a high carb diet (rice is a staple), but very low in fat, and they were quite healthy (doesn't mean their diet was optimal though, we all know it's carnivore ;) ). It's only recently that they started to become like western countries (eating seed oils) and getting these same diseases.

Brother, it’s great to see you working hard. However, charts and data need references so people can read the studies themselves. I agree that people should eat more meat and avoid processed foods. Many people today lack adequate nutrition and are less intelligent because they consume too many processed foods, not because they include plants in their diet.
@SunnyCarnivoreАй бұрын
I totally agree with you; have been thinking this since I learned about carnivore.
@chargermoparАй бұрын
Living in Miami I learned this a LONG time ago. The refugees who pour in here are all shorter and smaller than those of us who grew up with more meat. None of them are very intelligent either it seems. Rice, beans, corn, bread. 41 years since I started the carnivore diet. Still lean and taller than anyone within miles of here.

I don't even try to explain anymore. Happy to see everyone else going vegan or plant based while I do my thing and leave them in the dirt. I know I have the edge now over all of my friends at age 50 so why bother trying to give them my cheat code?!

I am a 77 Y/O 6'2" 170 pound ketovore who can hide behind every other adult member of my family. I can play touch football with the grand kids while the others can only watch. They all see the benefits from my diet and lifestyle but refuse to adopt them because, as they say, I am too skinny and my diet is going to kill me. They are all addicted to Big Food, Big Pharma and Big Medicine. I have one doctor - a PCP whom I visit once per year. The others have every kind of "ologists" on speed dial that you can imagine. So what, I wonder, am I doing wrong? 😉
@MrUncleBobАй бұрын
Hi. Most people aren't plant based though, most people eat mixed diets.
@davedosanjh6831Ай бұрын
@@MrUncleBob When you get used to downing a couple lbs meat every day, the standard plate starts looking plant-based, being mostly grain slop and roughage with a couple oz meat here and there, the thin ration prescribed by the overseers. For example, although a big mac combo is classified as "meat" in food surveys, it is 80% plant based by calories.
@MrUncleBobАй бұрын
@@davedosanjh6831 Hi, thanks for the insight, that makes sense. I wouldn’t personally consider a Big Mac combo to be real food, but I appreciate the example. Thank you!

Carnivore since January 1st. Getting thinner, less knee pain,healed gut, but also getting lower energy and hair loss, which is very bad for me as a woman.

lower energy = increase your fat intake. Add a stick of butter to your choice of protein and see how you feel. You probably want to look into the hair loss thing, ask someone like Bart Kay or someone who is low-carb/carnivore about it.

We all see how much fruit has been modified and hybridized, particularly in the past 100 years, but I'm curious what fruit/fruits did humans first consume and when?

They manipulated us into buying the wrong things. Now we have Carnivore. But I still have to see wheter the diet is best for longevitiy. I think Ketogenic Diet with organic vegetables, and fruits is best.

I have just discovered your channel, I am a real believer in eating a carnivore diet, and I very much enjoy your videos. However, would you please provide the details of your academic training and credentials? Are you a medical doctor? Your viewers don't know much about you and having this type of information would lend a lot of credibility to what you are telling us.
