Denise, I am not usually given to superlatives but that was extraordinary.; your tone, your technique, your musicianship, I am in awe.

Glad you're uploading again. Your colleague Aaron LaVere put me onto your channel a few months back when he came to my conservatory and he gave me some pointers on Tchaikovsky 4. Low horn is really overlooked a lot of the time at least at the high school level and really needs it's own channel to make up for it. Great stuff, I'll be on the lookout for more :)

Hank Jirousek thanks! Glad Aaron told you about my channel! I completely agree about the low register being overlooked and I want to help shed some light on the subject. Take care!

Such marvelous tone! Anyone know what type of mouthpiece she has?

Ian Rodriguez thanks! I play a Houser GS 12-0 with a JL 18.75 rim. Hope this helps.

It’s not the mouthpiece- it’s the dedication to perfection

What piece is playing in the background?
@DeniseTryon6 жыл бұрын
Mahler 3, about 6 minutes in to the first movement. I always use the piece I am demonstrating.
